Discussion regarding rules of India Forums INPUTS REQ

Hi guys,

We were discussing internally certain rules that we feel are very stringent and make members suffocating. Before revamping the rules we wanted you all to come up with what are the issues with the rules that you are facing, rules that you think shouldn't be there. Post with proper reasoning.

We are here to discuss. No fight in this thread will be entertained. Be reasonable and polite. Share your views.

We will evaluate those and implement them in the coming week if possible.

What did we do? We are innocent babies.

This is internal IF thingy, we got nothing to do with this. 👀

But we will participate to make forum more positive and inclusive platform. I've started reading the rules again.

If possible give a dedicated thread for old member who can discuss Original Adilie stuffs or old scenes discussions thread .. not AT, but at least old member can join who are not watching the current show but still can relevant with the forum.. once old members made the forum active , but now they have no particular thread or scope to join in the forum

so if possible keep this in moderation's thoughts

I personally have no issues with the moderation. As oppo suggested maybe provide a separate dedicated thread for og imlie viewers to comment on adilie scenes. Some of us og folks still watch the show for sumbul so suggesting we have a thread to discuss her scenes as well.

I would have never posted this request of mine as I have the least expectation of it being addressed but since this is an open thread regarding discussions related to rules, the minimum that I can do is put forth this request.

I've read the general rules, code of conduct and I do generally know what to expect in terms of limitations and constraints in a public forum. I've hopped into multiple forums for multiple years but for the very first time in this forum, I've seen one sect of members always being reprimanded.

My honest humble opinion and request, I'd rather have someone in the Dev Team who is unbiased. For me that is what is lacking foremost. All of us have to follow the rules of conduct and ofcourse as individual members, we do have the responsibility of upholding it and equally deserving the warnings and restrictions if we fail to do so. But as I see, it's always one sect that is being dealt with a hard hand than the other.

I'm a member who joined this forum after the introduction of the new parallel lead. Since then until now, for me nothing has changed. I'm still apprehensive of posting in any thread because I find it no longer to be open and fair and reviewed unbiased and hence my request. I saw what happened with the banner contest months ago, I saw what happened with the DT/AT's and now the TRP thread as well and I'm disappointed to say the least.

I do sincerely hope things get better with whatever changes you bring in from the collective suggestions and I hope it gives members like me to actually look forward to visit the forum. If this is not the right thread or such a request cannot be addressed, kindly ignore it. I would wait until the right one is there to share this feedback.

And lastly, as we've seen, the show is completely changed now with a different track and mostly different set of actors. I see no point in having any dedicated thread related to old couple discussion because the show itself looks like a cut off from previous phase (not even a flashback to the previous characters). And if at all people were to discuss since they follow Sumbul, we do have an AT for Sumbul, so it could be done there. Ofcourse as we've seen there's nothing that's stopping people from creating threads to discuss the old pair or the past story but shouldn't the forum be base to the members who are watching the show currently for the current pair and the current story?. This is my opinion only and I leave the rest to see how it's addressed.

@Siaa I too questioned why it seems only members of the Arylie faction of the Imlie fandom were always getting reprimanded and warned whilst the other faction seemed to escape unscathed but was told this was not the case. Apparently they too get reprimanded but not always publicly like with the Arylie faction.

Also it seems the fault might lie with members of the Arylie fandom. We don't seem to snitch as much as the other faction.

Moderators are very busy people with thousands upon thousands of threads to go through daily... so can't always keep track of what's going on in every thread or keep track of any and all offending posts. They do however respond somewhat promptly to reports of supposedly offending posts.

This is where the Arylie fandom have been making mistakes. We see offending posts and we don't report them but instead respond to the post in kind. The other faction then snitches on us and we get told off instead even though we were not the original instigators.

Lesson from all this: report. A lot.😆

Didn't you learn reporting watching this show from the start? After all it's the story of a star reporter mentoring a budding reporter 👀
