Romance is overrated.

I think post marriage i would really wish abhira to be having conversations like normal couples about their life journey till now! School life, college life, them actually getting to know each other and discovering their quirks, guilty pleasures......i feel friendship is very important among partners and abhira clearly lack that. They've been seeing each other as partners since day 1 which is good in one way that they are sure of the other but it also builds a lot of expectations in a relationship as its very important for partners to be friend and go easy with each other...whenever abhira meet they are heated up due to some family issue... we've already seen abhi is a guy who expects a lot from akshara like being priority and he is the guy who overcompensates and akshu takes him from granted, i don't see the genuine joy in their relationship , i haven't shown akshara acknowledging how her life changed since she met abhi, why she fell for abhi, they've given a boring character arc to akshu since day 1 about being her sister babysitter which doesn't even make sense now as sister angle is already discovered..hopefully with #abhikiakshu we will see akshara becoming a mature person.. she comes across as childish to me and not ready for marriage......hope like original akshara she grows a spine and stop sacrificing all the time, hope she becomes strong to take her own decisions in life.... i wish they show her contuining akshara dance academy, after all it's a legacy and it's in her name only

for abhi i am already liking how he is toning down his anger issues, hope this trust n respect for akshara always remains.

why i named romance is overrated- i know romance is imp in relationships but instead of watching abhira dancing on romantic numbers( we already saw a lot of them in their wedding track), i hope they actually talk like couples and they talk about something apart from family issues. Family issues have a seperate space but a couple- their individual space- their secrets, their times together

also those cheesy bedroom romance is also nice but i feel there is more to couples than hugging, kissing and cuddling.

also i hope mahan akshara doesnt take up family issues resolve morcha right after marriage. This is the time abhi n akshu really need to understand each other. Akshu is not aware of abhi's tod phods, his mood swings, his issues with his dad etc

I hope they make abhira interesting after marriage as i find them really boring as a couple ( no offence to anyone who finds it otherwise 🤗 )

I am so happy with the current track! The entire team has gone above & beyond, and each episode is straight out of a movie for me on all levels!

I do agree with you that romance, especially on ITV, is overrated, but in my POV, the makers do a really good job of balancing their romance with depth and more emotional scenes & I'm excited to see it continue after marriage! Also, Abhira have some of the most unique romance scenes on ITV right now & the makers always add a special spin on scenes that would typically be cliche!!

I would love to see them share more about their pasts, too, and I'm sure they will learn so many new things about each other on this new journey!

I disagree... after marriage and within the first years its all about kissing and hugging and all that.. who cares about the studies and college life.. I never spoke about that personally..

I get the romance at times is cringe I get that. But in regards to personal ambitions that can come later

You had a love marriage or arrange marriage if I may ask? In love marriage i guess people who have dated already know a lot about this stuff. In today's time school life and college life form a major part and there's always stuff from that time you discuss with your partner but i know it's ITV so they won't show stuff like that..

So you mean first few years couples don't get to know each other and it's all about physical intimacy? I feel physical intimacy is really an imp but small imp in a relationship... Humour and understanding each other is very imp..

I know it's a public forum but would like to know whether you're in a relationship? I like your take on the show, it looks likes it comes from a person who has good knowledge about relationships and dating, as you seem to be finding meaning in everything that even I try i can't.. i feel that obviously comes when you yourself have experiences in love..

I hope they include fun banter in abhira bond rather than typical stuff which even couples who have arrange marriage do : like akshara feeding abhimanyu, physical intimacy etc.. what differs it from love marriage then? I think it's the joy you feel when you actually want to talk n spend time with ur partner..

P S- not demeaning arrange marriage.. arrange marriages are also fun in some cases where you get to know the other person after marriage and enjoy with them.. like naitik akshara weren't boring at all... I mean they just don't make it like showing things that we've already seen in their dream sequences...like the first jaaniye dream . i need to see things beyond that ..i want the depth, the intensity

It is ITV so I set my expectations low. They always have the FL get involved with family issues and start their detective skills to try and solve other people’s problems. This is not going to stop so I expect Akshara to suddenly force her way into the conversation to try and make peace.

I agree I hope there are conversations between Abhi and Akshara about things. Just a scene or two here and there to show the bonding. But considering how drama filled pre shaddi has been 😆 I am not holding my breath that the writers will suddenly change this. But I am hopeful for post shaddi Abhi and Akshara.

For this part i would really say kaira had such an amazing journey from strangers to friends then lovers....yeh alag baat hai post marriage they were butchered but yet there scenes were fun to watch( even tho I am watching it now- not a season 2 watcher when it aired😂) - they used to acknowledge their times in rishikesh, their old times... I think I really liked the puppet show kartik did for naira just before their marriage where he showed the entire journey..

Then their bonding with luv kush was so much fun, then kaira and keesh- these both couples had such good friendship

There was very natural bonding between kaira if we look at their story pre marriage and also physical chemistry was awesome.

Abhira kind of look forced to me as this is literally based on a 2 day trip( don't get me wrong but it's not possible to feel a heartbreak kind of thing like abhi was feeling for literally a 2 day trip - i mean akshara isn't the only kind girl in udaipur with a pleasant voice 😂) ... Also physical chemistry isn't great either considering harshad has mature manly features and akshara is the cute smallie kind..

I haven't watched this show before season 3 but as much as I know this show has always been a family drama cum love story. I really hope they show Abhira more as Naksh than Kaira. Naksh had their own differences and problems but they tried to solve them. Kaira fought, left each other then get remarried to each other again and again fought and got separated and the cycle went on.

Akshara's priority after marriage would not just be Abhimanyu but his entire family whereas Abhimanyu's priorities are only his mom then Akshara and to some extent Neil. Both need to understand each other and adjust to each other. Hopefully post abhira marriage the writers will explore their relationship better and not ruin everything.

I haven't kept much hopes as I already foresee akshara interfering in other's bond..this girl knows nothing apart from that

She will force mahima Anand to accept kairav Anisha alliance even though she herself is a person who rejected abhimanyu thinking elders would be angry

She will meddle in others issues that's for sure coming and that makes her a really irritating personality 🤢 like why are ITV fls like that ..get a life bro...let others sort their issues on their own... You focus on you and your husband

And also given the fact that it wouldn't be for kairav as kairav himself isn't much intersted in marrying Anisha to the extent that he can't live without her.. I can understand akshara trying to convince for her brother's sake tht he is too much in love with Anisha but yaha toh aisa bhi nai hai 😂 yet they will show ak interfering or it could be abhira together will convince showing their own experience that one shouldn't give up on love- i think that would be much better.

I think harshad told also that this was offered as a new show to him and we see the show is more ML centric. So i feel abhira both involved in issues and handling them together.
