Honestly speaking , i didn’t even get good friend vibes between them forget best friends. Even aryan was meeting her like a general college friend. And the flashback with aru was also like that. He was mostly kidding around he was nit even listening to her deeply.
i have a feeling he never even took her seriously as friend too. We all have a group of friends in college we hang out with but after college they are just a number on fb friend list.

They married asad off to tanveer urf bilo rani. Imagine that. Yuck. You can’t do worst than that. Btw did the same happened to arshi? I don’t think so they didn’t get an ex kinda thing. They had that other girl and she was so sweet she had stepped out of their way.

Best parts of the episode aside from the Arylie parts were when Aru right off the bat rejected Jyoti's Mr. & Mrs. wala offer 😆 Also when she said "I am going back to my hotel", Aryan just sweetly goes "take care". But of course Imlie had to ruin it for herself. Skipped all the other useless parts of BD, some gunda, and what not.

Loved the ever so subtle hint of Imlie's jealousy seeing the hug 😏
