I think the trick would be to try & keep the conversation non-personal as much as possible, and deflect personal comments. Of course easier to say than do 🙂

e.g. compliment fm a colleague - u shd wear saree more often, u look so beautiful when u wear a saree.

U cld say, woh sab chodo let us focus on how we are going to present ….. point in the meeting.

Or say with a smile, it is kind of friends to compliment but I consider attire a very personal choice.

Join the club, this from a person who does not watch TV or movies. When I was younger I would force my mom to sit in front of the tv so she could relax a little in the afternoon within 5-10 minutes she would doze off. I am the same way, family will be watching a movie and I will be happily dozing off. But with BALH 2 I sit and watch and rewatch and after that’s done sit here and spend hours on the forum. 😂😂😂
