It is always the physical attraction for first time strong infatuation, which is generally also called love at first sight. You don't fall for a less attractive person on first look. It generally takes a whole lot time to get attracted to someone who may not be physically attaractive but thier personality attracts you. I mean no one will fall for Rajpal Yadav on first look, but many would for Hrithik.

Some average looking people can literally hypnotize you with their charismatic personality even though they might not look like Hrithik. Now Rajpal Yadav is an extreme example but the way they carry themselves, talk to you, manage to command the attention of an entire room, make eye contact with you, etc. and the way they make you feel like you're the only one in the room when they're speaking to you even though you just met them--can all translate to a level of attraction that their "looks" alone can't explain. But anyways, I know what you mean too.

The word love is when you start liking the company of that said person, and want to be with them most of the time. And the end game should be you want to spend the time. If the end game is wanting to have sex, it isn't love either.

I was saying isn't romantic love as a whole basically just hormones?.. In our platonic relations too, we love spending time with that person, we love their vibes, only thing missing is sexual attraction, isn't it?

You bring up a great point. Yes, attraction is very important in romantic love and a lot of it has to do with hormones. But you also start caring for the person on a deeper level over time and get super attached to them, surpassing the hormones and oxytocin.
