Dunno abt Shamshera

Brahmastra I like ayaan’s previous work but this is an ambitious project with a high budget which has been delayed for years

I like this song and if it's a prelude for things to come, I think it looks promising.
all songs in ayan's films are amazingOriginally posted by: mintyblue

Jayeshbhai is next sure shot flop in pipeline. Bollywood audience got no time to watch such small scale movies in theatres.
Shamshera and Brahmastra would be Blockbusters ONLY IF they are well made films since audience is currently thirsty for epic larger than life cinema. Otherwise they're going to be bigger disasters than Bombay Velvet and 83 because of their mammoth budgets.
If Jersey didn't work because the original film was available for free for everyone to see then same thing applies to Vikram Vedha as well.
The reaction to Jayeshbhai is so dull that I would be a surprised if it doesn’t flop. So unfortunately that one is done.
Shamshera is hard to predict. In a way I think Prithvriaj’s outcome will probably indicate whether another period film, albeit fictional, will do well or not. Also Ranbir hasn’t had much luck when he’s tried different things. Brahmstra’s budget is too high. The only way that movie will become a success is if KJo sells it dirt cheap and Dharma Marketing plays the same game Gangu’s marketing team did. In other words, things look good for Brahmstra, perception wise.
It’s too early to make any predictions about Vikram Vedha. They’ve just starred shooting and a lot can change by the time it releases. I think in a lot of ways we are still in the aftermath of lockdown. People are probably still weary of spending their money for every movie out there, which might not be the case by next year. And the year might not be as crowded. 2022 is very crowded year for movie theaters because most of the 2021 movies are being fitted into this year too.
