The bakery was already on loan , for which MS and Meera both had to pay monthly EMI..

Priya used to pay her part without default , but MS didn't pay, then the bank threatened ki apna aapas me ladlo , at the end of the day if either party does default, it would be confiscated.

So Priya takes another personal loan with 20% interest to pay the EMI default of MS, which Ram helped her waive off..

But half of the bakery still belongs to MS..

I think MS would have been forced to give Meera half of bakery as divorce settlement..

Otherwise I don't understand how it is a joint property..

If its Meera's ancestral property, it won't be on loan

So MS must have given half the bakery cunningly, so that the self respect wale girls would take up half the EMI, even after EMI they must hv managed to get profit , but then MS started doing default in his part too

There has to be a bigger reason.

I think the question is why Sara’s signature is needed for selling if the bakery belongs to MS & MM, I am not sure about business procedures, maybe it is possible to start a business on a land owned by your parents (similar to a rental agreement, but instead of paying rent she was paying them share in the profit) and in such case Sara is the owner the business,

The EMI for the loan taken to start the business was agreed to be paid in alternative months by MS and Sara, but MS wasn’t paying his dues properly, due to which bank was threatening to foreclose the loan, Priya being the dutiful daughter(to MM) & sister stepped in to pay off the loan.

It's bothering me that Priya pays the loan when Sara takes away the profit.

I think she was taking personal loan to payoff the business loan taken by Sara (& MS maybe)
