The one thing we still need to figure is Krish’s role in all of this & how, if at all, he is related to Ram. Also MS seems more of a kingpin than just the henchman - if he is the ‘old jackal’. He certainly wields too much power to be just the henchman.

This was exactly the scenario that was going through my head!

But Priya did not ask Ram for any safai/justification during the whole Vedika thing. Just believed him when he said he didn't have any feelings for her.

So hopefully he affords Priya the same trust.

I feel, Krish is trying to get closer to Priya.... I never understood why the heroine is not in demand until she is married. Once she becomes a married woman, she has so many suitors!!!🤣🤣🤣 Where were they till now, while the heroine was alone with no support?🤣🤣

I am not convinced with this Krish's character. His grey scale is still very blurred.

it is quite cool thing, if your sibling is in the same city and you need help then nothing wrong to call her, I do it all the time even for a small problem which can be solved without her. So I didn’t feel anything out of the place.

On a different tangent, based on the various theories, I have tried to establish a sequence of events, that might explain the events in the past..... please feel free to add/edit.

TIMELINE

- Sr. Kumar and Sr. Babbar start a Business wherein Sr. Kumar has major stockholding.

- Sr. Kapoor is hired by Sr. Kumar when the latter observes his business prowess.

- Sr. Babbar does "2- number ka dandha" while running the business and behaves like a saint in front of Sr. Kumar. His illegal activities is mainly handled by two henchmen: Mr. Sood and Mr. X (identity to be revealed later)

- Sr. Kapoor suspects something and comes across some frauds in the company. He is yet to discover the main culprit.

- Sr. Babbar wants to make sure Sr. Kapoor is not able to detect his illegal activities and hires a girl, Ms. Nandini to keep an eye on him.

- Sr. Kapoor falls heads over heels for Ms. Nandini and wants to marry her. Ms. Nandini comes from a very poor family and has seen many dark times. She sees that Sr. Kapoor has a lot of potential to be rich and is also bowled over by his love. Hence she accepts Sr. Kapoor's marriage proposal.

- The Business grows leaps and bounds and Sr.Babbar credits the success of it to Sr. Kapoor.

- (Side by side) The kids from all three families grow together and Ram falls in love (atleast he thinks so) with Vedika. He starts treating her like a queen. During the initial years when Sr. Kapoor was yet to achieve success Ram had very little pocket money to spend on her(lillies) But Vedika is stumped by Ram's adoration and is happy enjoying the 1st place is a guys Heart. A guy who will do anything she asks. She also misconstrues it as love when it's just plain arrogance.

- Shashi is a ladies man but Vedika not being in love with him has always bothered him. When Vedika accepts Ram's love proposal he becomes green with jealousy.

- When Shashi shares his woes with Sr. Babbar they realize they both hate the Kapoor family men. Sr. Kapoor for interfering in Sr. Babbar's activities and Ram for snatching away Vedika in front of Shashi.

- Sr. Kapoor starts suspecting Sr. Babbar as the culprit behind the illegal activities and starts to observe him more closely. This information he shares it with his current wife Mrs. Nandini Kapoor who in turn informs Sr. Babbar.

- When Ram completes his MBA he wants to start his own business. Sr. Kapoor walks to the temple praying for the success of Rams venture. Rams business is in the process of being set up and in the interim he joins under Sr. Kumar to gain business experience.

- Sr. Kumar announces that he intends to make Sr. Kapoor as a business partner since his hardwork and business acumen has played a big role in company's success. This does not sit will with the Babbars.

- Sr. Kapoor buys a third hand Audi (under loan) to celebrate his and his Sons success.

- Sr. Kumar is not aware of Ram and Vedika. So, both Babbars approach Mr. Kumar for Vedikas and Shashi's marriage.

- Sr. Kumar talks to Vedika about it and asks her to accept it since they are equal in their status and have been like a family since ages. Vedika refuses.

- One day Sr. Kapoor finds out about a land which has illegally exchanged hands from Mr Babbar to someone else. This due to the stupidity of his henchman Mr. X.

- Sr. Kapoor buys the land from the third party under Nandini's name so as to avoid direct suspicion. However all of this is circumstantial evidence and there is no irrefutable proof yet.

- Sr. Kapoor informs all of this to Nandini who now herself being in love with Sr. Kapoor is hesitant to tell this to Sr. Babbar. However, she is scared of Sr. Babbar as he is a very vicious man and hence passes the information unwillingly.

- Enraged Sr. Babbar jails Mr. X under a fraud charge to cover his bases legally. Mr. X agrees to it under the condition that his family is taken care of. To reinforce it he blackmails his friend Mr. Sood to get his daughter Sara married to his Son 'Varun'. Varun is aware of all these dealings.

- Sr. Kapoor finds out that Sr. Babbar has been made aware of his land purchase and may try to harm him. He immediately calls his son, Ram to make sure the land does not go away from their hands as it is the only evidence. He decides instead of waiting for an irrefutable proof he will share with Sr. Kumar the current evidence and information.

- Ram, is a bit confused about the conversation he had with his dad, but he decides he will talk to him about it later as Vedika is insistent on going for a movie.

- The Babbars decide to bump both of them off.

- They tell Mr. Sood that there is proof of their illegal activities in that car and that should not be allowed to come out and hence asks him bump the car so that it meets with an accident and the documents/evidence is destroyed.

- In that accident Sr. Kapoor, Sr. Kumar and his driver are killed. Mr. Sood is asked to bring an evidence of the accident, who in his stupidity brings the name plate. When the Babbars come to know of this they get mad but now that it has been removed it can't be placed back so he keeps it with him. Also, having this nameplate will make sure that the Babbars will always take care of him and his current family.

- When Ram is called to inform about the accident and for body identification, he feels emotionless as the most important thing in his life is lost forever. But his father always asked him to make sure their family is safe and happy. His Nandini mom, Shubham and Shivina are the only family left and he will make sure that they are always happy.

- The loans taken by Sr. Kapoor for the Audi and Ram's business makes them see tough times.

- Seeing the tough life led by Ram, Vedika is reminded of her father's words. When Shashi proposes Vedika she accepts it citing it as her Father's last wishes (to Ram).

- Ram is heartbroken but he has to be the anchor for his family which is what his father would have wanted for him. Ram through the business prowess he has acquired through his genes builds a huge business empire that towers over Shashi's business.

- His Mom, brother and sister still call him step-son/sibling but atleast they love him a little. He feels that maybe that's all the love he deserves and he should be grateful that God has given him atleast this much.

- Shivina and Akkis affair

- Ram and Priya's wedding

- Ram and Priya falling in love

- Years later, still not satisfied with his father's (the driver) death and the name plate missing, Krish decides to take his investigation a bit further. He also needles Ram on the coincidences in the past.

- Nandini knows that the land is an evidence of illegal dealings and if it's discovered her involvement may come forward and she may be also accused as an accessory to the murder.

This was absolutely amazing! This makes Nandini sort of innocent. I always have doubt regarding did she ever love VK.

I understand for Shubbu and Shivi Ram is the only father figure they know so they treat VK as kids treat the mahan examples given by their parents.

Like when our parents tell us, "we used to walk such long miles for school, we went through such hard times, or this person has done so many great achievements"

Kids usually dismiss these tales or get dismissive and irritated with it. Because it's a standard being set of things they can't achieve.

Similarly Shubham and Shivi have no real knowledge of their father other than the tales of greatness shared by Ram. So them not missing him or loving him I understand.

But I never can get full sense of did Nandini really love VK or was she just an opportunistic person.

I don’t think Krish has any of such intentions, he is doing as he was warned by Priya initially, whited to have a solid proof befor taking it to Ram so he is discussing it with Priya.

He tried to talk to Adi and Kunal tried but they where stuck up the fact the he is Priya’s crush and they will not let him anywhere near them and moreover they overreacted in the name of V, so he must have felt that only sensible person around Ram is Priya

Priya might have invited him as friend, if Ram’s friends can be their dancing than why not hers? Why do we ppl alway look for the third angle when Priya clearly told that he was her crush when she was 18, Neeraj happened much after that and she had moved on even after Neeraj so why would she have any thing for Krish other than friendship when she is madly in love with her husband.
