I also felt that he was quizzing her simply to find out where her heart was. He sensed a dip in her cheer and knew it was because of his Aarohi ban.
In the cafe the first time he asked her to sing she did even though that was not typical for her. But today she said she couldn’t. She sang half heartedly at the music dept opening day but today she just couldn’t get herself to.

While he was disturbed, and a song from her would have eased his mind but today I thought he was just testing her to see what was bothering her so much that she could not express. She’s so used to bottling up her real feelings so this was one way to get her to express. That’s what I thought.
Sometimes in order to surge ahead you have to take two steps back. Abhi is doing just that.

I don’t think the music scene was about going to another room. When abhi asked her again, she really did try but she was unable to. It was as if she had lost her voice because she was so disturbed. It really showed that she is losing her identity in all of this abhi vs. Aarohi mess. Her music is what she is defined by.

But isn't Akshara also stressed? Granted Arohi is not a good sister but still Akshara has been deeply affected by the events of that day. She told Abhi she would need some time.

I really think the scene was to highlight as Pooja stated the state in which Akshara is mentally at.

We have seen before when emotionally distributed she cannot sing or even tune her guitar. Akshara is not like Abhi cut the relationship and move on. She moves at a slower pace. We could flip it and ask why did Abhi have to ask Akshara to sing when he knows the kind of day they had.

Abhimanyu is the partner anyone would want…he was clearly dejected although he loves her so much that he granted her wish without her even saying something about it and remember she couldn’t even sing a song for him when he us stressed n us telling her he is stressed n his music calms him down…what kind of a partner is akshara shown to be …I just can’t get over it

aarohi was not important in today’s episode…it is pretty clear whatever she does or has done has been put on a back burner

N mahima is all ready to be the main vamp now …yawn worthy stuff

That scene regarding the singing highlighted a point some people were making about the sisters sharing the room. Why are they sharing the room 😆

I just think considering everything that went down that day why start another fight or drama? If Akshara sang in the room she would wake someone up who happens to be Arohi. And considering the entire family shunned Arohi she would be sour and start saying crap. For perosnal sanity it may have been better not to do anything.

I think where there is will there is a way …go to another room…find a spot …aren’t they supposed to be rich diamond merchants lol anyways logic ka koi kaam nahi hai tv mein…tbh all of this is being done coz aarohi ko center stage par rakhna hai despite her not bring a lead…ab yeh karney ke liye akshara looks bad then so be it …this is what I think makers thought…now as I previously said if this was the original plot then maybe i adjudged incorrectly for this show as primarily for abhira’s but if this was not the original plot well then nepotism rocks

Before Akshu's music was Abhi's peace, it was her identity. It was the one thing she had when she had nothing else in life. She literally said it was her life. And today, she was unable to sing. I don't think that everything Akshu does should be put in the context or Abhi or Aarohi, which is what it seems to be turning into these days. Her being unable to sing is heartbreaking, because it shows that her peace, her identity is also gone. She is caught in between her happiness for choosing the love of her life & the burdens and guilts of her past that won't let her leave Aarohi behind. And in turn, seeing Akshu having lost her peace and being in this situation leads Abhi to losing his peace. Because his happiness & his peace comes from Akshu. Like Neil said, relationships are a domino effect.

I felt really badly for both of them during that scene.

Abhi is not wrong at all in his intentions, but the way in which he went about it is unfeasible for Akshu at this point. The way in which Aarohi is removed is going to be a slow and natural process of his love overtaking her manipulations, which has already begun. It cannot happen overnight.

Akshu better make abhi feel loved during rest of the wedding. Hopefully they would marry only once and there shouldn't be sadness or insecurity surrounding that.. would just ruin the wedding mood.

Though I don't understand this level of attachment to Arohi but I will wait for Akshu to get over it and completely see through the manipulations
