This is just a MimiLulu venting topic….

Okay let’s start with why I have issues with the characters of this show…

Not even gonna talk about Aaru because mujhe kuch time se koi hope nahi hai…

Not even gonna talk about the clowns at the Birla and Goenka families…flip floppers hain sab ke sab and we all know my issue with Manju aunty who is trying to steal my beti 😡 mujhe pakka pata hai ke ek din hume pata chale ga she’s a bacha chor! Just wait and watch…

So let’s go to who I have issues with:

DR. ABHIMANYU BIRLA:

The dude loves my beti no doubt but I been saying since day uno ke his love is very selfish…it’s all about how he feels, what he thinks, what he wants. Kya kya? “Akshu ki maa, how can you say that?” This is how.

Great, he surprised her with giving her a whole freakin department with the state of the art tabla…he shows his love with big gestures. Okay cool. I’m a material girl so I appreciate the sentiment. But did he once think how his gift will impact Akshu seeing what his crazy family is like?
He knows very well what his family feels for Akshu…esp his father. And he got his family’s disapproval yet he still did the Kumar Sano thing again not discussing it with his father. Chalo koi Nahi.

My issue is about how he has NO faith in the one person who he claims to love and who claims is his everything. He shows his love with big gestures and his words and his anger yet he still doesn’t know that Akshu’s love language is different. She’s more subtle but her way of showing love is just as deep. She showed her love when she went against her family to stand up for him during the Ruby case. She showed her love by secretly planning his birthday just to get a smile from him. She showed her love by going against her BP and going to rescue him from jail.

Yes she loves her family just like how Abhi loves his mother. Abhi will leave Akshu if he has to choose between Manju or her. Don’t say he won’t. But Akshu can’t choose both her family and him?

The accident. Yes, Akshu hid it from him only because she didn’t want to make him worry over what she thought was a minor accident and she didn’t want him to blast her Aaru over a minor accident. At that time she had no idea her “minor” accident had anything to do with Manju. She had no idea Manju was found on the same spot as their accident. Her heart was clean so why will she even doubt it? And when she did tell Abhi about the accident, she told him what she thought was the truth. She wasn’t hiding anything.

Yes she loves her sister. Maybe a little too much but once she found out the truth, she went against that sister and the first thing she did was to go find Abhi. Without worrying about what the consequences were because she couldn’t just not tell him. He had to know. Even if it meant he might end their relationship. Even when Aaru fainted..even when she begged Akshu, Akshu still went against her and thought she told Abhi.

But Abhi has no faith in her. She told him “hey I told you in the hospital” but he doesn’t have enough faith to trust her? He still doesn’t know she won’t lie to him? He was going to break his marriage but only changed his mind because Manju tried to talk some sense in him. But that’s okay, right?

But here’s the thing. Even when Akshu thought Abhi had ended the rishta, she still got ready because she had faith he will show up. She waited for him and when the family arrived without him and the police arrived, that’s when her faith gave up. She thought Abhi had left her and there was no hope for her so why ruin her sister’s life too? Akshu will pick someone else above her because that’s how she is.

now most important ….people being hurt Akshu only chose Abhi because her family told her to? Say what? Akshu was never not choosing Abhi. Her dilemma was that she couldn’t leave Aaru. She chose Abhi long back but she couldn’t leave her sister. Just like how Abhi couldn’t leave Manju. No don’t tell me that’s okay because Manju never tried to hurt Akshu…Akshu loves her sister as much as Abhi loves Manju. Akshu only needed to know it was okay to leave her sister. She was going to pick Abhi no matter what. Her family and Anu only told her it’s okay for now to leave Aaru. Unlike when Abhi was actually leaving Akshu but didn’t because Manju talked him out of it but I don’t see anyone bashing him for that.

Now Akshu “picked” abhi yet he’s still not happy? He is stil insecure? Still doubt her? She literally tells him “I’m happy with my choice but doesn’t mean the pain is any less, give me time.” She tells him she’s slow to process these things and give her time. That’s her being honest with him once again. But he still can’t understand her and still has no faith in her. He really expects her to forget her beloved sister in a day and be happy while she knows her sister is crying in a room by herself? I’m sorry but if Akshu completely forgot about Aaru then she wouldn’t be Akshu anymore.

Abhi fell in love with Akshu because of how selfless she is, because how she loves with her whole heart, because she puts others first. Now he’s upset at her for these very things.

This forum is full of how abhi is the perfect lover…eh? But let’s all hate on my fashion challenges tiyag ki Devi. Akshu isn’t the one to do grand gesture or express her feelings but she shows her love in more quiet ways. Abhi will open a new department for her and invite everyone, Akshu plans his birthday party without even letting him know it’s her that did it. Abhi planned a big Valentine’s Day for her but then she also planned their date night. Abhi breaks things and gets into fights with her, she goes against her family and fights for his innocence. Her ways might be more subtle but her love doesn’t need proving.

So excuse me. Please remember, Akshu ki Maa abhi Zinda hai and aag laga doongi!

Mimi! Well I do agree on so many points but Abhi comes with a baggage of his past with respect to his parents marriage and stuff and it gets triggered by Akshu's love for Arohi. So it's fine. Both Akshu and Abhi aren't entirely wrong but have their own set of flaws.

However even if there was no scope for their relationship after the police+ birla drama, akshu shouldn't have taken arohi ka blame on herself. That was wrong on so many levels.

LOL, so she couldn't leave her "jaan" se bhi pyari aroo who is actually a criminal who almost killed someone. That too, not actually leaving aroo but only not having aroo in the 2 days of the wedding. Itna bhi nahi kar payi without thinking, when in fact, both sisters deserve to go to jail actually.

Even now, after thinking so much, she wants and expects Abhimanyu to eventually change his decision. That's why she went to the park. Otherwise she was sitting broken and crying, because in her mind she had already chosen aroo and was now losing Abhi. But she didn't have the courage to accept that truth.

After Swarna's talk, she went to him only because she's now hoping that he will give in to her unreasonable demands like always. How insensitive and plain wrong to expect someone to accept the criminal who almost killed their mom? If she was in his situation, she'll break up immediately.

For the crime here, Abhimanyu should have at least right away sent aroo to jail, making sure she gets as big a punishment as possible. Then Akshara would have known what it is to leave her sister, which is only a result of her and her sister's mistakes. Instead, he sent away the police just for Akshara's sake - her happiness, peace and relationships. So she's now taking him for granted again, and wants him to completely forget about the accident thing and what aroo has done?

Maybe she can't differentiate between right and wrong, and she doesn't care however big a criminal her sister becomes. But other people are affected by such psychopathic behaviour, and Akshara needs to realize this.

Her sister can do any crime, hit someone and leave them to die, and even kill someone, and she still wants that sister to attend the wedding of the person whose mother she left to die. No one will want to even look at the face of the criminal who hit and left their mom to die. Akshara can't even understand this much when she claims to love or choose Abhi or whatever.

She never picked Abhimanyu. If she did, she wouldn't have a problem at all choosing between sister's wedding attendance and a life with Abhimanyu. She doesn't respect him or the love and honestly doesn't deserve it at this point, with the way she's been behaving.

He said aroo ke bina shaadi ya mere bina zindagi - even then she couldn't choose since these two things are equal for her. Wow. A life with Abhimanyu is only equivalent to aroo attending the wedding. So just imagine the humongous all-encompassing position she puts aroo in. Akshara doesn't really have any space left in her life for anyone else apart from aroo.

Her sister doesn't deserve any punishment at all for being a criminal, just because Akshara ji is blind and insane. Okay, that's awesome. In that case, she should go for therapy and not marriage.

Aarohi kitni bhi buri ho, lekin woh family hai. Bachpan se Woh dono ek dusre se aadat padchuke hai. And Abhimanyu coming in between and saying her sister is like a tumour and I need to cut her off from her life.. I don’t get his point.

I agree that Aarohi is manipulating her, Akshara is getting manipulated and she is very dumb to understand that Aarohi is using her for her selfish purposes. But they are like that since sirat’s death na. And Akshara doesn’t have problem with it, because of her love for Aarohi she accepts all the pain.

Many people being in an abusive relationship doesn’t want to come out for many reasons which are known only to them. Just like Manjari & Harsh, Akshara & Aarohi. But here Abhimanyu is having problem with Harsh and Aarohi because his two ladies who he loves dearly are suffering because of them. Why he is not able to understand that they are OK with pain and suffering they are facing and don’t want to be detached from them. Instead they want Abhimanyu to understand, be supportive and be little nicer. Here I cannot comment about Harsh & Abhimanyu’s relationship because we don’t know what really happened inside their family, but in Aarohi’s case, he has to take it light. Just ignore her and leave the sisters alone. Akshara can handle her relations better, and after marriage Abhimanyu will be only her priority not Aarohi.

I have skipped most of the epis and i am not best person to actually judge who is wrong who is right but based on what i heard i will just put some points.

Abhi was wrong in leaving akshu for arohi. It's not akshu's mistake but it was majorly aru's but i can understand his worries as he had only his mom all the way from his childhood thought of loosing her because of akshu's love for arohi might have made him to take that decision.

Akshu can not leave aru completely but abhi is not wrong in asking her to leave because if tomorrow arohi commits a murder if akshu takes the blame its very difficult for him to help akshu.

Abhi was dumb while presenting that music department 😳 when he knows birlas hate her.

I really wished abhi toh bring all these points before asking her to leave aru. He could have gave all these examples instead of just asking her to leave aru 🐷

He should have brought his concern and told her that he will always be worried for her if she stays with aru and that atleast akshu would have promised him that she will never repeat or hide anything from everyone if the matter is realted to arohi.

But i majorly blame writers as the comminications are not clear from both the ends.

Like akshu could have thought how abhi easily forget that accident.

Abhi could have thought about panic attack on his own 😵

mimi... lovely post absolutely agree with you on both akshu and abhi.... abhi never picks akshu when it come between her and manju.... he is very clear that the choice is manju and even akshu knows that .... and here insecure abhi asked her literally forced her to choose him but his reasons are right aaru is somewhat toxic and manipulative.. so we feel she is safe with abhi atleast he is less toxic than aaru
