I would contradict this. Well, I can say it isn't very common. But I have seen something like this in front of me. So, yeah can totally relate if they do say. Yaha to phir bhi 4 mahine ka hai... The ones I know about... They knew each other for exactly 45 days. So, yeah.

I feel it would be unrealistic if it was portrayed by anyone other than Monami herself. Matlab, if anyone else treated her as Karan Shergill's widow, that'd be unrealistic but not for Monami.

It'd be unrealistic (perhaps) if the two weren't together and hadn't confessed their love and weren't dating. But the two were together and they did intend to get married (both of them.)

So, it'd be Monami's choice that she doesn't want to give anyone else the place in her life that Karan had and that she doesn't want to get married to someone else.

Barkha still had her daughter and years that she spent with Param. Monu doesn't have that.
