Good that our country got rid of the colonial law under article 377..and people r also more accepting now.

In my hometown I have always seen people from the transgender community come to bless a new born child and newly wedded couple..their presence is considered auspicious and they r showered with Shagun money. This practice is still followed. Don't know how and when this certain phobia or aversion towards them entered our society..
