very true..not denying it. The question is why should one be affected by something that is not done by them. But reality is family will be affected because family members always relate to one another emotionally. Again a larger unit. More than what people talk abt ..it's the feeling of guilt and shame that someone from the family has cause harm or pain to another person or family.
I get what you are saying about Ram’s bezatti impacting Priya. But I could never understand why Meera and her daughters had to hang their head down in shame for MS’ sins, I know the society would try to shame them, but they themselves should not feel the shame, they should hold their head high and look into the society’s eyes to tell ‘ you are barking at the wrong tree, go & shame the actual culprit’. Probably this is an idealistic thought, but this is my way of thinking
Just like how a family/ nation becomes proud about an individual's success, the very same way it affects them with failures as well.
