Review :

This show is different from others. Its a romantic psychological thriller that will slowly turn into a healing drama what i have hearnt.

First episode starts with FL Kang Dang Jung and ML Joo Young Do being shown in parallels where KDJ looked scared and helpless then the show starts with prologue where in 1999, KDJ is seven years old who stays with her broken family. Her father is an abuser and her mom is a victim. She often pass her time by reading stories where there's a happy ending and has a special interest in a story called "Black Cat". She often dreams of her birth in her neighbour family whose father is a good person to her. One night KDJ's parent fight and at midnight silently her mom kills her dad and elopes with her kids to Seoul. At present, 2020 KDJ works in VVIP group as a manager and she is quite rich now, she decides to shift to an urban locality where there's apartment called Gugu apartment but before the day tenants could shift a murder happens at 3rd floor. JYD is a psychiatrist who helps the cops in solving cases and he is somewhat trying to figure out who murdered the person and why. Then leads met and in their first meet, JYD through his psychological mind reading discovers but KDJ has suffered since childhood and he reveals it in a terrace get together which irks KDJ and she is revealed as a cranky personality girl. Later, she meets her stalker who is second ML Chae Jun. He is interested in KDJ but KDJ doesnt reciprocate although she is not scared of them as he is a wise man. Afterwards KDJ come across the fact that JYD is a divorcee and his ex wife is a popular actress Ahn Ga Young (2nd FL). Slowly it is revealed that CJ is a sociopath so he could be the suspected killer. JYD tells KDJ to stay from CJ indirectly. First episode ends with JYD warning CJ to stay away from KDJ as he recalls some teenagehood incident.

The show has a very spectacular and chilling-freezy cinematography. Production quality and everything is great. The show is directed by 2521's director. Acting is awesome by all the 3 equally.

And title track "Ruin" is my fav since a longtime, this OST was the main reason behind me trying this.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first epi, its slow but still engaging right now. As its a thriller turning soon into a healing drama. I will rate the first epi 9.0/10 for maintaining the suspense and thrill.
