Basically, they pick a sample of around 50K households and install barometers which collect information and transmit it to the servers. On the basis of this info, TRP is calculated. Which means jinke ghar Barometers nahi lage hai, wo chahe TV dekhe ya na dekhe, it has no impact.

Ye to bahut hi galat hai, how can just 50K decide what majority of the population is watching? Ho sakta hai unn 50K mein se kisi show ko bahut kam log dekhte ho, par baki population dekhti hu? In my opinion, sampling ho bhi to atleast large scale pe ho tabhi uska benefit hai. Itne kam ratio ke sample se to decide hi nahi ho sakta.

That means hum show dekhe ya na dekhe, TRP pe koi asar nahi padega.

I am not sure I got it right or not. Please correct me if I am wrong.

TRP is a sham.. also population loves drama, they get it on other shows/channels.. SAB is known for light hearted content and has a specific viewership.

Let's not bother about all of that. Sony did the same with IPZN and KUDCA. Not surprised if SAB does it too.

Yes, what is done is done but this is not a little mistake that served no consequences. Someone died. That's irrevocable. It's not a glass piece that broke that three months later won't impact their life. Someone DIED. It'll impact them forever.

Trying to remedy it is all good and nice. But the thing is, you can't remedy that. You are part of the reason someone's mentor, someone's uncle, someone's family, someone's friend died and just because you regret it, it doesn't mean he'll come back or that his loved one would hurt less. They'll always hate you and be angry at you for being part of the reason.

i think all of those who were disappointed and stopped watching. since now Karan would be back should start watching...

now i dnt knw how much those people are going to help but we can atleast give them nice TRP while going off air.. atleast satisfaction of getting good TRP while singing off...

we cnt make this decision of going off air reverse but make most out of whatever days we have now
