I don't remember whose theory it was (maybe @doodle's or @doc's) that Nandini was sent by Sahil Babbar to seduce(?) VK.

Remember when Ram told Priya on their date that they were sitting in the very restaurant his father and Nandini mom met? Maybe it wasn't coincidental. Maybe it was a part of Sahil Babbar's plan.

But Nandini fell in love with VK, so his death devastated her (and she must've refused to be a part of their plans henceforth)

Perhaps Nandini doesn't want Ram to know that she knew about Sahil Babbar's plan all along. She wasn't an active participant (later on) but she knew that SB was about to double cross VK.

I don't know how to explain and this is solely my personal opinion and interpretation that , not every situation requires hug and physical comfort, sometimes u just need ur own space, u need privacy even if it's mother-daughter or husband-wife relationship..

Had Ram escaped kidnapping, or had it been an accident Pri would have run and hugged him..

But this is a case of severe insult, and a person would need space after it..

Even if he doesn't have ego issues , fact of the matter is that an embarrassing tamasha was made before his wife and in-laws.

His wife and her family saw the lowest of the low level people in his family can stoop to. He was so anxious when Priya was trying to stop Shubhu, he did not want any altercation ..

Like remember the scene where Mahendra/Monster Sood verbally abused Pri in cafe and Ram saw her breaking down, he did not go and hold her hand or hug her not because he doesn't care but he knew Pri would not be able to handle that kind of confrontation , instead he did what is right , go and show MS his place..

This is exactly what Pri is trying to do.. Ram was in a pathetic situation, hiding his tears from Pri and trying to avoid confrontation and Pri gave him space and now she will do what is right , fix these brats..

Sorry but I agree to disagree here. On Lori day, when MS insulted Pri, Ram didn't go back and hug her because they were still at loggerheads about Shikki case. Their equation was not even close enough such that Pri would take it properly. That day at least Pri knew that Shikki relationship was their support; otherwise, they would be like pumpkin plants. They will fall at the slightest tear. So, that day it was justified that Ram didn't provide physical comfort to Pri.

But, now, their equation has changed completely. Now the Shikki relationship is dependent on Raya even though no pair is aware of it. Today, since they know they are in "Ram aur Priya ki Kahani," they are building their relationship. Ram already verbalized his love for her, and she reciprocated two nights back. They woke up the following day entangled in each other's arms. How much comfortableness does one need to hug their BFF? Even when our BFF is in emotional turmoil, we give them physical comfort, if not a hug, holding their hands. Or sit beside each other in silence. They could have twined their arms with each other. She could have wiped his tears. Today he needed a motherly love and not a wife's love.

So, this is a complete FAULT of the directors. Absolute nonsense. They are saving it for the intimate scene coming up the next day, and for that, they are butchering simple psychologies.

P.S.Pri is a very private person and on Lori day, when MS belittled her, they were alone. So, the question for Ram to go back and hug her doesn't even arise. But, this IS the second time the 'sautela' card is used on Ram in her and their family's presence. THIS time it was NEEDED for her to comfort him. How many chances does she need now?

There r some times in life when u don't want to be touched .. Like if u get that one loving touch u will melt and have a severe breakdown and u don't have that energy to suffer the breakdown..

I honestly was not looking forward for a hug , or physical assurance . Had Pri as much as even lovingly touched Ram's hand today , he would had a very bad and severe breakdown.

He needed that breakdown otherwise the next morning when he was humming the song out of the bathroom, and his usual goofiness was odd in the first place. So without that unloading of emotions, how would he retort to his goofiness so easily. NO. I don't buy that.

Instead Pri will slowly gradually take baby steps and help Ram acknowledge that yes he is hurt by their actions and it is not right to succumb to their whims and fancies .

Ram was so badly hurt today that even when Pri screamed of pain when he held her hands, he could not sense it. He needed privacy today and Pri needed some time too ,to plan the next course of action balancing her emotions simultaneously .

No, watch that scene. He took it as he hurt her also. Pri shrieked because of the rope marks, but Ram took it otherwise and that's why Pri soothe him that he cannot hurt anyone.

She will help him face his inner demons. Help him break his delusion that " sab achhe hai , sab kuch theek hai"

Yes, she will and that's why I LOVE her. Period.

This false hope is what kept him going in life , this delusion was his lifeline rope he held on to so strongly all these years , so it cannot be snatched away in a single day, it can be so injurious to his mental health

This is the most sensitive area of Ram's life and Pri will take it slowly and rightfully.

I agree here. But Pri comforting him with a physical touch would not snatch away his delusion in a single day. If his mother had been alive, he would have rushed to her, put his head onto her lap, and cried. Then, like a howling cry, crying is very important to unburden the pain in one's heart. Otherwise, it will bottle the emotions, and one day, he will crash.

It was similar today - when we comfort someone in distress we try to do something that makes them comfortable. Pri is someone whose has a very tight personal space, so when the MS kaand was out and she stepped back from the hug, Ram did not try to jump in.

Today, however it was clear that Ram was touch starved - his holding her arm was proof..there was really no need for him to do as they were both just moving to their sides of the bed. I still strongly believe, that a touch was needed. She could have just kept her hand on his arm and it would have achieved it's purpose.

I am genuinely mad that a 'touch' did not happen.

Thank you! I just put my reasons for their pathetic scripts. When Pri stopped midway for that hug the other day, I explained why it was stopped and today I am explaining why it should have been there.
