Angad was actually brought in for three months as cupid for fatejo. They were supposed to concentrate on fateh tejo angad triangle. To make fateh realise his feelings for tejo and ditch Jasmin. But they deviated towards fake engagement and wedding which didn't go down well with viewers.
After jasfa airport scenes, ratings started soaring. The lost direction
Angad was not written for the purpose he was brought in. Even now they don't know how to utilize him properly when that guy actually can play all shades well be it positive or negative.
Overall characters not consistent , no proper flow of story , leaking of a s** tape b. All that didn't help.

There is more confusion and annoyance rather than suspense . They just don't know how to make viewers excited. Instead the other way round
