tbh i find kkr management very reserved. they don't want to try new players much, that's why they try retaining the old ones as much as they can , they r not very welcoming to change. but since they really needed a captain so they chose shreyas. i think giving shreyas captaincy isn't a bad idea, he's a good captain just luck not favouring him(just look at someone like rohit this season, such a great captain but his team is just not clicking this season)
