For me, bdays have always been very very special. Aur mere ghar par celebrate bhi aaise hi hote the all thru childhood - with a lot of planning, parties, food, gifts, return gifts...Mera bday use to be like mini Diwali❤️😳

So difficult to choose 1 bday which was more special than the rest.

But one bday which made me realise how blessed I was to have good people around me, was in 2001. I had lost my father just about a month ago and obviously celebrations were the last thing on anyone's mind.

But 2 of my mother's friends got together, baked a cake for me and got my fav vada pav. I was so touched...they didn't have to do it, my relatives had not even wished me...but this small gesture from my mother's friends is something I will remember all my life❤️

Baaki toh my bdays are still as special...2 mahine pehle se I start getting excited and planning ki kahan jana hai, kya karna hai🥳🥳🥳

Manasi, sorry to hear about your father. That heart warming gesture by friends are the angels sent by your dad to be there for his family❤️❤️🤗 What a touching memory to cherish❤️

Mere bachpan mein, there was a big atta ka dabba which was kept out in the corner of our kitchen for me ro sit. I used to sit and chat with Maa there😳

That is so cute!! I can envision a little girl tip toeing to climb up and sit on it, then huff a sigh of relief once on it comfortably. Aaaww!❤️🤗
