The 6.30 show which is going off air opened at higher trp without any grand promotions. And this show has all the elements that the trp audience like. Normally youth based shows get less trp at this slot. Maybe IPL is the reason

Then again a strong cast would have made a huge difference. None of the cast except Deba have any screen presence. If they are focusing in depth on Sidharth’s character then the ml is not potraying it. He can’t pull off complex emotions. Maybe he will do better when his character arc changes to a lighter note. But question is will the audience have patience until then. Next 4-5 weeks will decide the fate of the show.

IMSJH is being pulled off air feel so sad for the leads...they have such bad luck with their shows

ATNH should have been the one to go off air instead

Well, this show needs new talent. Not every noticeable actors give good trp. And Ashish as Sid is doing far better job than the OG. Atleast he is not copying the og actor. We have to give him time because his character is going to strict and tough till he fall in love with her. Even in the OG Sid the actor acting felt like he was frustrated with his own character.

I will say his acting wasn't as upto ... He couldn't act in romantic scenes or soft seq. So we have to give a chance to new actors if we want something unique. And nothing is wrong in cast or script. It's people who are not interested to see because they are judging it way more early.

Honestly speaking I want him to grow and accept mithai rather copying the slow pace of leads relationship which didn't change anything in Sid character except he got a companion as Mithai.

Even there is no monologue of him in the og show ...

There is no need to get so defensive with me. First of all I have not compared him with anyone. May be in one of my previous posts i might have said about og lead. But thats what i have heard. Me personally have not watched the original and nor do i intend to.

Secondly i was just stating my views as to why the trp came so low even after huge promotions. Usually the first week trp is good for any new show. And yes I still believe Aashish has not portrayed the emotions of Sidharth the way it was meant to be. I dont care how the og lead enacted his part. I am commenting based on how Aashish is potraying Sidharth’s character. I dont have any personal issue with him. But if i am giving my time to watch something then I expect certain level of performance. If it is not delivered then i have all the right to give constructive criticism. I am not bashing anyone here.

If this is a good acting from a male lead then i guess i am expecting too much from an Itv show. Also this may be his first time as a lead but he has worked in some of the popular shows with some of the pretty good actors itv has currently. So in no way he is a newcomer. Others may have different opinions and I respect that. So lets just agree to disagree.

On a side note the dance sequence was really nice and i liked that they kept it authentic to Mathura ..and did not show dancing on bollywood song like every other show. Debattama is such a talented all rounder.

Yes and that too with just one week notice. I dont know how the story was never watched the show.

Well I will say that do not expect much from Zee TV ... And I don't find anything wrong in his acting tbh. Don't know why people are deliberately saying about him when his character is to portray a strict and introvert man.

Deba is doing good but her character is way more childish .... So I am hoping they toned down a little bit after marriage. It straightforward looking like 16 yr old teengirl ...

I am not going to continue this discussion anymore. I have said whatever I had to. I am not any single actor’s fan but do appreciate good performances and watch if something interests me. Please don’t quote me if you can’t respect different opinions.

May be it is his appearance, his clean shave look is not giving the same effect which other characters are showing , I mean everyone is afraid of Sid , but by looking at him he is giving cute vibes rather than grumpy

Yes yes but it depends on directors if they want him to be with beard or not. I personally don't want them to copy OG Sid as I found him really Western culture lover
