But on a serious note what I meant is he always longed for a happy marriage, like the next day after their marriage he could not help but stare at Priya.. in saree, Mangal sutra, sindoor… and he felt she was “his Wife” like he had someone who he can call his own…

Only thing stupid was the condition that he can never love anyone else… while on the other hand he was all in to make the marriage work out.
