A sister like Arpita

After Arylie, the bond I enjoy the most in Imlie is that of Arpita's with Arylie. She is that sister every brother would always cherish to have with them. She loves her brother to the core that,

She overcomes her PTSD from fire as she couldn't see her brother in pain.

She is ready to relive through those painful memories, if it will help her brother to move on from his revenge, guilt and painful past.

She never blames her brother for that unfortunate day; instead tells Aru that he too is important to her as Aravind.😢

She is that confidant sister who keeps her brother's secrets hidden from their mom, while at the same time will use it to pull his leg or pinch his ears as and when required.

Above all, she is not that possessive sister who keeps blind when her brother is at fault and blames Imlie for his foolish acts. Instead, she is as supportive to Imlie as she is to Aryan and that is the bestest quality I like about her.

And Rajshri is really living the character with her natural actions and reactions. Letting us cry and laugh with her.👏

She's such a pure character... Never before I've seen anyone apart from FL being so nice in ITV 🤣

They are too good for ITV world.....As you said its so rare to see SIL who is so genuinely supportive of bro n SIL n not involved in kitchen politics n planning/plotting....

The day she protected n stopped AC frm slapping imlie while her so called apne stared like how they always did ,was d day I fully became a stan.....

Fk n Rajhshree are acing their characters....they really make this bond seem real...

My fav is when she cried during haldi ,I was like don't cry 😒the whole scene was so well performed by all 3 Rathores...👏

Also when aru looks up at his sister wid full adoration during haldi ceremony.....It was so cute ..he really looked like a little boy looking up at his older sister.....❤️

And that nose boop by arpi has a special place in my heart...

Their bonding is a delight..I love how she keeps teasing him, covering for him prior to their wedding and now after the wedding..

it is really natural acting -- so kudos to the actress. she feels like a real person and someone you can easily relate to. many times in ITV, the characters are so one note that they don't seem real and instead come across as rather cartoonish. so I like the Rathore family in that it feels like a real family with natural relationships. nothing fake. their ribbing, their sadness, their worry for each other -- everything seems on point and it is not over the top filmy. It does not feel like some dramafied version of a sibling relationship but rather a real lovely one with both highs and lows.

I have nothing but good things to say about Arpita. She is the sweetest, kindest, most loving, fun sister. Such a perfect complement to Aru. Them fighting about the pageant was gold the other day.

Bold - She cries so naturally that we can feel the pain she's in. My favourite one is the recent one when she agrees to Imlie's request to sit through the IV, even after Aryan asks Narmada to take her away. Not much dialogues or extra tears....but I could feel two emotions conveyed simultaneously - how difficult it was for Arpi to relive Arvind's memories and how much she loved her brother & wanted to see him healed.😢

The way she teases Aryan gives me sukoon and reminds that part of sister mode in me....the one who used to threaten my brother of spilling his secrets to my parents. Just like Arpi pulls the brake over FF Akkadbakka. 😉
