I had the same thought. Even discussed this earlier when I said that I want Sonali switching sides to Sai.

BK knows that Sai is unstoppable and a challenger to her. So putting her down is her only motive and to do that she is using Pakhi.

I think somewhere she knows V loves Sai and won't get into a relationship with Pakhi. But this constant power struggle will keep the control of the household with her. It's a proper divide and rule policy. But in all this, she doesn't even care what effect it has on Samrat. V-Sai ko pareshaan karna is the motive. Sammy is collateral damage.

Sonali is 'jee huzoor' types. She will bow to anyone with power. So if Sai is the one in control Sonali with flip to her side. That would be interesting to see.

See BK can brush it away .. and make pakhi the scapegoat.. right now she does not like Sai .. hates her .. so pakhi is the only weapon she has .. in her arsenal which may work .. see was there any reason to deny pulkit as son in law after he became a doctor .. if Devyani was pregnant.. and pulkit was studying as a doctor still any rational person would have agreed to get the daughter married ..rather than making her mad .. it is all a power trip for her ..

Virat kabhi bhi usko Milne se raha woh lakh koshish kar le .I think samrat ko bhi khodegi woh Khali haath rehe jayegi.

It would be nice if this happens but in an organic way.

Her palti after Sai's accident didn't work ..too much too soon. That's why she moved back the moment Omi threw a tantrum and Pakhi instigated.

One scene where she seemed genuine was when she requested Sai and Virat to reconsider the divorce. That one moment she was not thinking about family image, it was distress at a relationship breaking.

She was thinking about family image .. as virat was leaving house to live with some unknown shady woman

BK is a control freak egoist. She holds the power but is gullible and is not clever enough to see through people and their intentions. She can easily be manipulated. And that is the reason why Sai has not managed to be in Bhavani’s good books. Because she never tried to manipulate BK into liking her. She has only tried to work around situations and to get her way things that BK opposed. But she never made direct attempt for her image with BK. This is where P has played well.
If we recall Samrakhi wedding, BK had started seeing faults in P. It was only after Sai entered that she started favouring P. If P and V’s past was revealed before Sai’s entry things would have been very different.
Sai is a strong character difficult to ignore and with her stubbornness and bluntness she was bound to poke the likes of BK.

Pakhi ke paas itni akal hoti to kya baat hoti.

Infact I just saw kal ka LB episode (Marathi ghum). Right now Sai has cleared V of the case which jagtap filed.

And Pakhi ka breakdown dikhaya.

But vo ghum se seekh le rahe hai.

Pakhi ka alter ego use bahot samjhata hai ki tumhara abhi koi rishta nahi hai. It's just devar bhabhi. And you are jealous of Sai. It's better if you step back and let them live in peace.

Real life Pakhi is heartbroken but even itni nahi jitni ghum wali Pakhi thi. She says to herself I need to accept now.

I gave BoD to Pakhi for so long! Tried to understand her from projecting RK on her! I do that with virat when he confuses me in Ghum . Rono gives me the perspective. But Pakhi I don’t know the dialogues and the expressions show only obsession and physical desire! 😩. So I gave up on her.
