Anubhav have so much to finish before his wedding. Everyone is busy with their assigned wedding preparation, and they all are trying to make this event a memorable one.
A faint knock pulled Anubhav out of his thoughts. It must be Golu chacha and his gang. They come to rag Anubhav and make fun of him, whenever they get break from wedding preparations.
“Coming” Anubhav opened the door to find Gungun in Green and Red saree.
She must have come for some ritual, looking marvelous in the traditional wear.
“You look Beautiful” Anubhav said while checking out Gungun from head to toe.
“What? What did you just say” Gungun was staring back at Anubhav and couldn’t believe her ears. She was getting praised by the great scientist himself.
Anubhav turned around, suddenly realizing that he spoke the words out loud. A little embarrassed, Anubhav again looked at Gungun.
“Why are you here?” Anubhav asked ignoring the pull he felt while looking at Gungun. She really looked gorgeous in that saree. Simple, elegant, and bright. Anubhav just can’t take his eyes of her.
“We both kissed after our engagement” Gungun announced leaving Anubhav confused and now taken a back.
“Who kissed?” Anubhav asked puzzled
“We kissed, you and me” Gungun replied, a little too loud.
Anubhav moved forward to close the door, so no one can listen to what Gungun was blabbering.
“What nonsense. When did this happen? I would have remembered” Anubhav again came in front of Gungun, now a little baffled.
“I mean, you have to say this to my best friend, Nidhi, who will be landing today for the wedding” Gungun tried to explain while moving towards the study table where Annu was working.
Anubhav, now more confused than ever followed Gungun.
“Why will I say that?”
“See, Nidhi is my BFF, and she just can’t get it that I’m getting married to you in an arranged setting. So, to kill her curiosity, I told her that we are actually madly in love with each other, and I dated you for 6 months before taking the plunge.” Gungun said, now comfortably sitting on study desk, facing a confused and irked Anubhav.
“But that’s not my issue. Its your headache, you deal with it, I will not collaborate your story to your immature friend. And anyways, why will she ask me about our kiss?”
“Listen, first of all, you don’t have a choice, you will support me in my story otherwise I will tell this story to everyone in this household, and then you will be more embarrassed.” Anubhav now eyeing Gungun with irritation tried to object when Gungun continued.
“And secondly, you don’t know my friend, she is already doubting the whole idea of me dating secretly and to confirm it, she will check with you on things like our first kiss, our first meet, who proposed who etc, etc, etc”
“I can’t believe this. Why do I need to suffer because of your lies and your stupid friend” Anubhav now more irritated at himself because even with all this nonsensical scenario, he can’t help but admire the absolute gorgeous sight that Gungun was looking;
Gungun now at his eyes level, while sitting on his desk and looking at him with that big kohled eyes, trying to make him say yes for the plan was just too adorable for Anubhav.
Suddenly Anubhav moved forward, keeping his both hands at the desk on either side of her lap, he leaned over Gungun and came a little close to her.
Gungun skipped a heartbeat, Anubhav was so close, He is so handsome. With deep dark brown eyes, Gungun can feel the heat radiating from his eyes. His hands are so close to her lap, and this realization just gave a little goosebump to Gungun, she was now just afraid to move.
She wanted his hands, she wanted him to move a little closer. Gungun now can hear blood rushing through her ears. She was now in trance where she can just see Anubhav, hear the heartbeat, and feel the tingling sensation.
“So, how did we kiss?” Anubhav whispered, leaning forward, very close to Gungun. Staring directly in her black eyes.
“I mean we must have some proper story to tell your friend so that you don’t get caught” Anubhav said, realizing that Gungun literally froze, with him being so close to her, he can see so many emotions in those eyes.
“Gungun” A smirk suddenly played on his lips
“Breathe” Anubhav said without moving away, still very close but Gungun realized what just happened and suddenly looked away from those eyes to break the trance.
Gungun forgot to breathe, he just mocked her with his trick of getting close. He knows that she just can’t breathe and gets to another world when Anubhav is so near her, this has happened once before, during engagement and he is doing this again.
Gungun suddenly pushed away Anubhav and stood from the desk.
“No need for a story, she will not ask you details. Just tell her that we kissed at our engagement party after the rings got exchanged, when we were spending some alone time with each other” Gungun said moving away from Anubhav and not meeting his eyes.
Anubhav can’t help but smile at the way Gungun is reacting.
“Ok, sure. By the way, we can practice the scenario to perfect detail to tell your friend with authenticity.” Anubhav added to see flustered Gungun blush some more and get all hyped up.
“Whatever” Gungun said hastily opening the door and moving out of this room, because now suddenly she realized, she doesn’t trust herself to take up Anubhav’s offer to practice their first kiss scenario.
