Chap 22

After rakhi, Imlie was very happy that her brothers were just adorable. She always thank god for it. She got busy in her work too she was again sent to another city. This time she told Aryan and her brothers that she is going and not to worry as its just on scam going on one of the govt schemes. They told her to be careful and kept tab on her.

Life was going on routinely, its been two months it was Imlie’s birthday. She was sleeping when at 12 Aryan kissed her lips waking her up.

“Kya hai aru”she said half asleep.

“Happy birthday Imlie” he said pecking her lips again.

“Birthday?! Oh my god its my birthday!!! “ suddenly fully awake and excited.

“Owww dhire” aryan closing his ears

“Mera birthday gift baby” she asked looking at him with puppy eyes.

“Laalchi log bhare meri life main” rolling his eyes.

“Anyways no gifts .. bohut gift gift khel liya” in serious tone

“Haww !! New rules! But why?! I want a gift do mujhe abhi ke abhi” she asked but she deep down she didnt care for gifts all she ever wants is his love and support.

“Pagal” taking our a folder and handing over to her. “I didnt know what to give so just thought to do this”

She took the folder and opened it, “Power of attonery” she muttered. She looked at him her eyes glistening “Aru no way! Plus mujhe ye sab mein interest nai hai. Ye lo” trying to hand him over “No” he said.

“Are i honestly dont want anything Aru. You know i was kidding all i want is you mere patidev” asking for a hug.

He hugged her and pinched her nose, “Nice try but this is my decision and nothing can change it not even you”

He had gotten a cake her favorite red velvet small . They cut and fed each other ofcourse taking a picture.

She checked her phone, none of her brothers wished her. It was her first bday that they havnt wished her. There was hurt on her face.

“Kya hua Imlie”

“Bhaiya .. they didnt wish me even Aarvi and Jhaanvi”she said realizing.

“Baba so gaye honge subha karlenge sab thodi meri tarah sweet hote hai”

Imlie scoffed at his smirk. “Whatever and yea maybe you are right” They both slept.

Next morning, as soon she woke up she checked . Nothing nada. But now she thought ok they must be busy and she shouldnt act like child and get disappointed. Aryan took Imlie shopping they roamed around the city and spent time with each other. Once home in evening, Imlie told Aryan if they can go to her brothers house, “They didnt wish me but i can go take their blessings before my bday is over. I was hurt in morning but now i feel i shouldnt be and go there ourselves”

“I am having headache baby please “

“Ok you rest but can i go please!” Aryan nodded

“Come tomorrow morning stay over i dont want you driving back alone at night” he said strictly.

Imlie got up and kissed him bye. She didnt Aryan that nagging feeling she been having today it seemed more. Birthday was an excuse she didnt feel something was right . Yet she still want to get their blessings.

The lights were on, so definitely they are home. She got out and took her keys out, opening the door and standing there shocked. All her brothers were present, Aarvi and Jhanvi had terrified look . They all looked up and saw Imlie, Yuvan seeing her threw a bottle on the floor angrily. He was crying. On the same glasses that were broken, he walked on it and came to Imlie, his feet bleeding.

“Yuvi be careful. Oh my god you are hurt. She took her sari pallu tearing it to cover the wound”

She bent down to touch his leg but he pulled back.

“Kya kar rahe ho, doh mujhe kaach gus gaya bhi hoga please” she looked up feeling the pain of his brother.

“Don’t!” He yelled.

She got up fearing firs time of him. “Kya hua hai. Sab kyu itne gusse udaas ho. Please bataye na?” Looking all of them, Rudra and Agastya was as angry and had angry tears, Avyay looked sad and disappointed and Stavya just had blank face. Aarvi started sobbing, she went to Aarvi, “Say please what happen? You are scaring me all of you” she pleaded.

“Jhaanvi please tell me and please he is not letting me touch him please taking care of his leg “ Jhaanvi went and took Yuvi hand made him sit and checked his feet for glass pieces and then with her duppatta tied around the wound.

“Thank you” Imlie muttered.

Yuvi looked was looking down, his jaw clenched finally he spoke, “Imlie you know why Stavya didnt get married?” He asked not really wanting an answer

“Huh? What happened? I am confused where is this coming from?”

“You know WHY?!” He shouted Imlie flinched in reaction. Never seen her brothers ever in this state.

She shook her head scared of the scene in front of her. She felt her heart beat go really high. She stood there holding herself not to break.

“YOU!!” Pointing to her. Her face paled. Me? She thought? And why this? What happened here today ?

“He was young when mom passed away and you teeny baby. Since he was the eldest you know what he promised not knowing the seriousness of that promsie? He promised to take care of you like a mother, he promised he wont marry so his attention never gets decided. He loved a girl name Shravani but he couldnt marry her . She married someone else after waiting. He didnt back down. Just because of you. We knew it but we never told you because we loved you.” He said calmly “We didnt know we spoiled you too much “

Imlie stood there, blank not understanding but feeling the guilt. “Par i never..” she said softly

“Never what?” He got up and slapped her shocking everybody

“We should have done this when you were a kid just like other parents”

“YUVI” Aarvi shouted crying for Imlie. Imlie stood there holding her cheeks not knowing what she has done. She had enough.

“WHAT HAVE I DONE?! HOW WOULD I HAVE KNOWN?! I never wanted that i always wanted all you to be married!!”

She was breaking slowly, her brother slapped her more than the slap the accusing tone was hammering her.

I understand his brother gave promoise but they slapped imlie... Am i dreaming... 😞😞😢😢

This just beginning he is triggered right now so next chapter more things will be revealed.

That's a real cliffhanger!

Not sure of the situation but I will say this ...... I actually hate it when anyone accuses the next person of something they had no knowledge of or were never a part of the promise for. Example, when a parent says if I you were not here, I would have achieved this in my life! First it was not a child decision to be there. You chose to have the kid. You chose to raise them and you alone made that decision. The child had no say or didn't ask to be born. So blaming the child for your poor decisions is plain selfish.

Will wait to see how this story unfolds.

But for every action is a reaction! And in these situations the reaction is never good!

This will have all revelations i know nothing of this is Imlie fault its just circustances and situation. Its about in ANGER how people break relations how anger can break everything. Yuvi is example of that he is triggered drunk and his venting out. But imlie loves is so much she will still take everything in . Its a conflict i had to bring in the conflict it was time to bring it. Its about relationships and trust. Trust is such a thin line. Not everyone mignt like this chapter and am sorry😳

Chap 23

Aarvi went to Imlie, hugging her crying, “So Sorry .”Imlie didnt hug her back and said. , “Aarvi chodo mujhe kal mujhe Rudra bolega ke tumne ne mera saath dia. I dont want be reason again” she cupped her cheeks. She distanced herself leaving Aarvi standing there shocked.

Yuvi continued, “She loves to hide things right Imlie? Lie and Hide.. you are sure this tatoo the love you ever showed us was even true?” He sneered at her, his eyes were red and Imlie realized he was drunk too. Rudra got up trying to stop Yuvi. What was suprising none of her brothers came to her defend. No one dared say anything ti Yuvi. “Hide?” She asked confused

“You hid about Avyay am i correct? “

“Ha but he told me not to . He wanted to come out himself”

“Exactly!! “ Avyay spoke finally now angry “Then why did you send a message Rudra bhaiya about it? You said it on text?! “ Avyay look disgusted.

“What?! No i havnt done anything! How can i message him here this is my phone check” she was stunned at the accusation she was stunned at lack of trust . All these years a text made doubt their sister?

“Enough Imlie chali jao yaha se “Stavya said

“Yuvi hosh mein nai hai baat aur bigad jayegi just go” he sighed still no emotion

“Kyu bhaiya kyu jau? He has said enough already he wants to say more am here he can say it. Because i know i havnt done anything wrong” She said looking at her brothers.

“You hid about Tanya that you went to her and told her to break up with me?” He said very calmly

“Yes i did because she was cheating on you i caught her red handed!” She said honestly.

“LIES! I MET HER TODAY AFTER TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HER!! After much insisting i got her home and proposed her in front of everyone she said no. Then she told us! She even tried to kill herself there was mark on her wrist! “

Imlie stood there frozen at accusations and lies Tanya fed them. “She is lying” she said softly

Agastya spoke, “Imlie please! I cannot deal with this anymore. Why would someone try taking their life!?”

“So is that what your trust on me? On your sister? Your baby girl?” She spoke like zombie she couldnt believe what she was seeing. The relationship based on love and trust was breaking on someone say.

“I have your values bhaiya I am your blood why would i do this? What will i get?” She asked looking at them for answer tears finally escaping. Her soul was shaken, her world crumbling but she stood there not showing that. Her love for her brothers still intact always will.

“We forgot you are not our blood Imlie” he said looking at her as broken.

All brothers stood up, Avyay went to yuvi trying to cover his mouth, “Shut up Yuvi bohut hogaya chalo yaha se” trying ti drag him away.

Imlie started panicking, she went to them, hold Yuvi collar, “What did you say? Itna gusa ke tum ye bakwas kar rahe ho? Chup kyo ho tum log kyu juth bol raha hai ? Ye juth bolega mujhe dard pochane ke liye to chalega??” She begged

Yuvi struggled as Avyay was trying to cover his mouth and pulling him back. He pushed aside the hand, “Thats the truth!! Am not a liar!! AM NOT LIKE you! You showed us all the love we gave went in vain because you were never ours!” He yelled getting agressive. Imlie was speechless.

“Mom brought you home from somewhere else. Your mother was mentally sick person she was homeless and mom used to see her on road everyday. She saw her pregnant and the lady didnt know she was mentally sick. Mom used to take care of her and when the baby was born your real mother died. Mom brought you home she always wanted a girl. Imlie name she kept because as child she loved Imlie not because she was pregnant with you!”

“Bus kar!” Rudra bellowed

“Not today someone try to take their life because of her. We spoiled her too much. She plays too much. Never serious. !”

Imlie fell on the floor, she coudnt cry she was breathing hard. She couldnt believe that her brothers…

Stavya slapped him shutting him up” Abhi ke abhi kamre main ja varna mujhse bura koi nai hoga” he yelled at Yuvi. Avyay finally managed to drag him away. Jhanvi ran to Imlie trying to calm her.

Imlie pushed her away, “Bhabhi nai nai please aap aur aarvi mat aaye. Aaj bhaio ne tod dia.. “ she said in hiccups.

“Itna pyaar dia mujhe ek dusri bachi ko.. kabhi ehsaan nai chuka paungi. I dont want fight betwen you and bhai. Go “ she wanted tog gather herself . She stood up and said, “i am not hurt am adopted. Your love never was less my respect grew more so did my love. But am hurt that you did not trust your sister. “
