I disliked her but she was an interesting character. I used to follow the EDT then but not participate, and I remember Prema Akka would post about the character dynamics in the OG (and the I read it on Wikipedia). So I was really looking forward to see how the characters would grow and eventually come together as the family unit.

I did see the interview with Shiny but not the one with Simran. After watching the interview I am 1000% sure that she was never happy with the fact that Shivi and KDice became more popular than her and her character. It is clear that Alice-KD and Shiny and Simran don't speak on set at all. I think the reason is themselves because they acquitted what Shivi fans have been saying about them to KDice. They blame everything on KDice for what fans have said about them. Which is stupid and childish. Shivi fans are not the mouthpiece for KDice. For Shiny any Shivi fan is a troll so she calls every Shivi fan a troll. You can't blame the audience if they like a particular jodi on screen and not the other. The majority of the audience is watching because of Shivi because we all know what the TRP and the online chatter was before the leap. So if the majority audience are Shivi fans why wouldn't they ask for more Shivi. Why wouldn't they be upset that their scenes are being cut and edited poorly. Why wouldn't they be upset at the makers for sidelining them. Shiny needs to grow up and stop behaving like a child. KD and Alice don't even address any of the issues on the set and just do their job. Maybe take some lessons from your fellow actors on how to be professional.

Gautam starts working in PS when it is owned by someone else (ofcourse because Mami cheated them and the loan shark took over the store). The kids all 3 see Gautam lifting boris and Shiva gets affected the most.and he even says this to Krish (episode# 21 and 22)
He does all the nautanki to get expelled from tje current school. Gautam - Dhara doesn’t know this. The Principal says though he is a good student, cannot keep him because of his bad behavior, so Shiva says, “ toh nikaal do naa” 😕 episode# 27

Gautam and Dhara plan to send him to a different school and even schedule an appointment for the interview. He ruins the interview, but before he goes missing in episode# 28 Gautam and Dev find him sitting on top of the tree. Suman accuses Dhara for training his son to be a Bhagoda.( Suman calls Shiva this)

Episode# 29 - is the turning point - Shiva sees marks on Gautam’s back when Dhara is applying haldi to make him feel better, Krish also sees this but runs away. Shiva gets affected after seeing it and he ruins the new school interview You should see chota Shiva come up with a story as to why he was expelled from the previous school 😆, the new school Principal gets scared and refuses admission. Dhara is shocked at Shiva’s story 😆

Episode# 30 - Shiva tells Dhara he will go to school as she gets angry with him and doesn’t talk to him. You know how Shiva- Dhara scenes are. He agrees on one condition, till he goes to a new school, he will help Gaumbi in the store (by now PS is back in Gaumbi’s hands-in between - kids abd Dhara steal the papers from the lawyer’s office - episode# 23 and 24). This is the same episode Suman looks for a bride fir Gaumbi’s doosri shaadi, since at hime, not going to school, he scolds the marriage broker but Suman asks him not interfere when elders are talking. But you should see in episode# 31 how Shiva makes the marriage broker run far far away from PN 🤣

Anyway after episode# 32 Talk about Shiva going back to school never happened. Dhara kept insisting that he should go to school and she is going to keep trying to admit in a new school, And 2?episodes later leap happened.

So till date Gautam- Dhara don’t know why Shiva didn’t want to go to school. Raavi will be the first person to know his sacrifice. Dev and Krish know that he felt bad fir Gaumbi working so hard and that’s all.

But I must say, the songs they used for Gautam- Dhara pre-leap were really good, not one song was repeated ❤️

So I don’t blame Gautam and Dhara for not trying, they tried but Shiva didn’t make it easy for them.
It’s just he never shared the real reason with them.

I do like pre-leap episodes a lot- Suman was as mean as with Dhara as what she is now with Raavi. Dhara did not call Suman Maa until after leap. Brothers did not call Dhara Bhabi until episode# 32. They called her by name till that time.

Preleap this show was well-paced. I remember all these, and esp. chhotu Shiva's harkatein esp. his fierce protective reactions for Dhara & Gautam. And his sharp reactions to situations! Harminder made Shiva hero, bachpan se.

They left his education part as is, though- at some point could have shown GauRa know he was toofani, but sharp, smart student. Who did get good grades. Dhara/ Gautam one them would be getting his report cards to sign - so that truth cannot be hidden/ surprise. Dev too must have known. same agegroup Siblings do know.

Don't think makers ever thought about it though. But showing Gaura bit aware of his good education track record, could help.

Edit: they should rally give a Good Promo: fro chhotu Shiv'as reason to quit school , his treebranch scene & this Shiva's scenes.

A solid promo will do wonders.

So they flipped the script, made sure Rishita took potshots at everyone and the audience's favourite, with two disliked characters standing up for an audience favourite, and voila! Rishita-Dev are being bashed left, right and centre.

Lol I don't understand the aversion though. In every version of the Show Kathir-Mullai (Shiva-Raavi or anyyyyy names you call them) have been popular. Its the DYNAMICS. The way these characters are written and shaped and then lastly executed is the reason they're loved by all the viewers across the country, no matter which version they're watching.

Kanwar and Alice just add a LOT of Pizzazz to something that was already bound to be a sensation.

Didn't these guys do research at all or what? LOL.

Even without the research it just makes no sense to harbour this toxicity.

yeah logic is missing from this lol gaura are looking very careless if they just didnt know anything about why shiva quit or his potential. Its like how dhara proclaims to be friends with dev but he never told her about rishita lol and now with all the kaands krish is doing dhara has only clues about the stealing and drinking but she hasnt told anyone lol dharas parenting has been C- grade at this point lol

I guess the break was needed. I was getting too invested in a fictional character. And that's not good. I saw a shivi vm on suno Chanda which you had posted long time back. I am currently watching that. I saw 15 episodes and i am loving it. It was a good distraction for me.
