Maybe a rant? 😢

I am suppose to be on a break from forum . But here I am. Actually, I'm still on a break as I have some stuffs going on in my personal life too. But I couldn't help but write this. I promise you it will not be completely negative, but I will complain about the problem I have and where the issue is.

Look, I'm not a very lenient critic, but when I watch ITV I have my standards set really low. I try to complain less, and be happy with what is being served as I know writing ITV isn't easy. Weekly trp controls the storylines, and telecasting almost everyday, while keeping a look at a number on screen is not easy. You have to add twists and turns in the script not according to the demand of the storytelling, but to the trp number. I respect and acknowledge all that. But as a viewer, I must connect to characters na?

What are they doing to Meety? Like, I don't have much complaints with Meetwa as I can understand his every move and every stand. I know according to the narration, they want us to believe that Meetwa is wrong, which he is. Not supporting Esha, and getting her married to someone she doesn't want to is wrong, but he is using his marriage as an example. He is like choose Karne diya toh Deep ko choose karegi isse accha hum hi choose karte hain and in his eyes, his marriage is the most successful marriage in the world so everything about his marriage is perfect. 🤪Like I don't condone the concept, but I see where is he is coming from, and I don't mind characters making mistakes as long as I can relate to them.

I feel the show now focuses more on the changes that 9 months had brought on both the leads. Meetwa has a more serious demeanor when he is dealing with business or any Family problem. But he is his old self with Meety, as she is his safe abode.Meetwa is a babe. He is so head over heels for Meety, that he wants to be in her proximity at all times. He didn't say a thing to her for hiding DeeSha's relationship. Infact, he went ahead and brought RL and dropped Aunty and Daadi to train station (this is the only kind of role reversal I'm into! Whatever else you are trying by showing Meety as the Alpha?!! Yeah, that's not working) God this man!!!!

But Meety? I honestly don't have any problem with her behavior with other fam members. She behaves much like the old Meety, bas she is more vocal about her opinions. Gaining a career doesn't only help you make money, it also changes your personality. So, in the nine months, she has become more tough and strong and more dominating ???😡 She was always highly opinionated which was something I really adored in the past, but now she is more vocal and strong which is somewhat getting on my nerves now. Like when she was talking with RajIta, she didn't say anything wrong , but this time Babs made more sense in that entire convo. Just because Meetwa didn't share this with her doesn't mean it didn't hurt him. Please, don't bring the topic infront of him so soon. Be a little sensitive and patient. Par nahi!!! She has to trick him into visiting central jail. (I liked the autowala scene over there though 😆) Ok, Esha ka case serious Hain but don't you think it will be better to share the fact that Esha tried to commit suicide with Meetwa. Right now, reuniting Esha with Deep isn't as important as stopping this forced marriages and taking her to some goddamn therapist. Itna serious incident kyun chupaya Meetwa se! If Meetwa got to know that Esha tried to commit suicide, he would have himself done something to solve the problem. Who knows shayad khud jaake Deep se baat karleta. (And these are all the minor problems I have with Meety. As I said, I don't mind my characters making mistake as long as I can understand them) But her behavior with Meetwa in some of the scenes is downright outrageous. If makers think that this will make us gag and laugh, then that won't work. Infact ab toh zyada hogaya. Car scene mein maaf kar bhi du but bedroom mein Kya tha? I felt happy when she show concerned when he faked that he was hurt. Phir Wohi bandaar ki tharha jhappta maar diya What I expected was some smoldering romance between the duo before they finally break off. Taki Tadap toh ho unhe phirse Saath dekhne ka. Abhi toh aisa lagta hain that Meety doesn't even love Meetwa. 🥺

The first half of the ME I really liked as it showed our Meety. She was looking at him so lovingly when he said he has finally become the beta of H fam. That's our Meety! Then, the innocent fear in her eyes when she realized her gullible Meetwa has changed. She asked him so innocently that 'Will he stop trusting her too?'. That's our Meety. Even today, the way she was advocating for her in-laws and especially her husband infront of Esha that's Meety. ❤️ She didn't let the little kiddo hold malice for her family in her heart. She told her to give them some time. In that tiny phone chatting session, she complied to attending the engagement ceremony for the happiness of her family and her husband despite her stand on the engagement being clear. That's Meety there. She always takes into regards what her loved ones want aur hukum nahi chalati. She tries to convince ppl to follow her ways, but she doesn't act superior in that process.

Again, with their romantic scenes I don't know what's wrong with Meety. I simply can't understand. The question is not about consent. Agar consent nahi hain toh kyun nahi hai ? There are meaningful ways they can show this track. I have known drop-dead gorgeous and confident women shying away from intimacy with their loved one because they feel insecure of their bodies. Yeh dikha saktay hain Meety k case mein. As a woman,I can vouch that there are days when I feel confident, and days when I feel insecure. Aur Meety shayad isliya aisa Saab karke intimacy taal deti hain as she doesn't want Meetwa to be disappointed by the end of it. This won't justify her actions but atleast it will make sense (even if they show that aspect which they won't) . Or else, they can also show that Meety doesn't want to be disheartened again. Twice she tried to profess her love for him aur dono baar hi obliviously hi saahi but Meetwa broke her heart. Even, their first kiss was more special for her than for him. That's why, maybe she wants him to be more vocal about his feelings before they get intimate. I just need to know why she is doing what she is doing. Because I simply cannot understand!!!

Warna mujhe toh samaj hi nahi araha woh aisa kyun kar rahi hain because as comedy this behavior isn't working. ( Hopefully makers note this response because they seem to read and incorporate people's review in their storylines)

I see the build-up for the separation track, and at this point I won't mind this. I don't know what will happen in Shanty case. Knowing Meety she isn't a fan of rules and regulations when it comes to right and wrong. Meetwa knows Meety agar uske case k liya trainer ko chakma dey k aa sakti hain. Then to save Esha she can arrest Shanty too. Honestly, Meety nowadays is so unpredictable in a bad way actually. Agar isse MU shuru nahi bhi hua toh I'm pretty sure SI sahiba will try to meet Deep herself and do something about DeeSha when she can't convince Meetwa to do so. Issi bhagambhag mein she will get to know about Alhawat's connection with her dad's murder too. Already Shanty aur Esha k case k wajaysa itni dooriyan agayi Hogi ki iss case k waqt Meetwa wont be able to support her. Accha hi hain waisa bhi, kadar kaha hain ussey Meetwa ki. And if the makers can't do romance properly, what's the point of keeping them together anyways? Angst hi la do. I can't see Meety pushing away my Meetwa anymore. It hurts me. 😭. I hope Meetwa confronts her about her behavior in the future just like he did when she was running with a stick after their kiss. Or just like Sameer once did to Naina. These things needs to be confronted. Idk the future..but at this moment, Meetwa doesn't deserve this kind of behavior. (maybe I'm more offended than the show's character😆)Period!

I'm losing interest in the story. MeMe is too precious for me, so I'm still giving them a chance, but I'm standing on the edge with them at this point. And accha hi hain they are slowly ruining the story for me and for everyone. Trp bhi Kam ho rahi hain toh show waisa bhi kaha tiknay wala Hain. It will be easier for all of us to forget about it that way. (We can think that last date before leap was actually the last episode) Unless, everything takes a happy turn which I don't know how. (But let's be hopeful❤️) Honestly, I feel bad for our Meetwa. He needs a woman who will swoon over him. The Meety in that little garden scene, the Meety in today's phone conversation, and the Meety during their first kiss is that Meety. Right now, Meety is swinging between two Meets for me. Ek hain humari Meety and ek pata nahi Kaun hain. Hypocrite jaisi hain aur bohot superiority complex hain usko which I absolutely hate.🤢

My poor heart. I wish I loved my MeMe couple a little less. It would have been easier to let go. Even though, I'm not really looking forward to episodes like before. I'm watching some clips and stuffs, and hoping for things to change. Kya kahu mein Hoon hi pathetic shayad 😭

Atleast, separation hi acche se miljaya ab 😳

Till then, if you guys are interested into watching something light-hearted then try Business Proposal (Kdrama) 😆. Typical Rom-com hain but it's pretty light-hearted. Mood thik hojayaga tumlogo ka

Kidnapping purposeless drama tho thha hi but Meety also took the jalebi. I thought she would tell that man to celebrate with it for getting his car. It was like taking fees for her nonsensical work. Against principles.

This 9 months now is a mystery based on all the previous episodes. Did Meet² have any conversations during this time or not? Deep being framed was good plot twist but ruined and not handled well.

Romance should have been a natural progression but missing totally. They are still stuck with talks about trust. To top it we have to see Meety with her attack mode on. She used to tickle before. Whatever happened to that. Comedy looks misplaced here.

What is exactly Tej's role in this show as an elder brother and as the scion of the family ?He is back to running after RL. What about the business?

In Tej problem and Duggu adoption drama, we wanted conversations. In Sat episode we got a lot of conversations with valid points too but in the wrong order and key topics left for later or left out completely. Conversations were shown because its Meety initiating them and as Nikki said, she is distributing gyan ki moti. Meety can be shown to be flawed and confused a little more on how to handle this new development instead of talking about trust etc. Just try to comfort Meetwa and ask why he didnt let her know earlier or something.

Then after that logically the topic of Isha not mentally ready should have come first before Deep - bharosa jaap. The breakfast table conversations should have happened earlier. And Meety didnt bring it up. It came up only after Babita said to be on time for the ceremony and Meety said she will not attend. I dont get it.

Isha attempted suicide. But even then Meety is stuck with Deep. Why cant she just tell Meetwa about the suicide attempt and Isha's state of mind and request for more time first? In Meet² marriage they were given a choice, albeit they were emotionally blackmailed with family prestige.

And Meety is after the people who dont want to talk about Deep. Tej came to her but she didnt try to find out more from him. She went to talk to Raj-Babita about Deep but there was no conversation with Ram-Ragini about Isha.

Ragini ko suddenly silent kar diya hai in family matters and she is still talking about Meety's dad's qatil

Logical flow in the story is seriously missing and we as thinking viewers cannot connect with it.

I get it that the makers, by the end of the episodes, want to establish that the members are all slowly separated or separating and stage being set for the big dhamaka.

Tej - Sunaina drifting apart due to RL

Masoom wanting Sunaina - Meety to drift apart due to RL

In fact Meety - Dadi/Anubha also seem to be drifting apart

Meet - Deep separated

Babita - Meety clash

Meety - Meetwa clash of ideologies

Raj not standing by Meety

I will still stick around for a while and watch because I want to see how the promo part comes up. But I am at a loss when it comes to analysing because how to discuss or analyse something where we see no logic or flow or consistency Just ending up picking up the flaws So I will not be analysing any of the upcoming episodes.

I wont be surprised if the trp drops another 2 points in the coming weeks.

She discussed about Esha's consent with Meetwa and Meetwa also told her what he thinks (I don't agree with it par mujhe laga hi tha aisa Kuch kahega Banda)

And after Deep, I will say it's not hard to break Meetwa's trust. Agar Meetwa can mistrust his best friend, he can very well be in a position where he stops trusting Meety, and again if given the evidence, he will start doubting Chacha and Mama to. Matlab Banda ab shayad blind trust Kisi pe nahi karega. Proofs will speak for him. Accha hain. Let them be separated

Between trust on Deep and Isha's mental frame of mind, definitely Isha was higher priority.

Haan... Sunaina ka matter was like a social msg... They should show some other characters also knowing about it other than Meety. Like she does not need be the one giving gyaan for social messages all the time. We will get some respite too. In Sunaina's case it could very well have been Ragini.

@bold: They did make Meety a bit dumb during Manushi track. Even in Rajasthan. Aur ab dekho.... kitni samajhdaar ban gayi hai😆
