I really don't think Abhi even understand what he said by mrg was a mistake. He is not thinking abt it. Even today also when Ak asked the same he kept quiet last day also after saying this he kept quiet. His concern was mostly how AK compared him to pb and why is she supporting manju. Even when his decision is the correct one.

Because time and again he told her how much he is frustrated that he can't keep her happy and not to be with her. So from my POV he is thinking that she knows how much I love her and she just left me there.

And in convo with kaand mata. He just poured his hurt. His sadness that he can't keep her wife happy in that house because of all of you. Now she is in myka she have little bit sukoon from this jhamela. I think he is indirectly blaming manju, and telling his life mysery to her.
