He maintains his silence until absolutely necessary.

Nandini was too emotional with Shivi too today, do you think it is just an act to keep her at KM for whatever plan she cooked up or Is Nandini really scared of losing Shivi?

Go watch that scene again, he knew that she was acting, his eyes they were throwing daggers at her throughout, he melted at her for a milliseconds, when she said mera sab khatam ho jata, but instantly realised that she means by the business and property.

He was very passive-aggressive with nandini. He has been like that since that kangan kand is revealed. He knows/senses that nandini was involved with vedika but he is not saying it bcz he doesn't want to portray nandini as bad step-mom to Priya or soods. But she played with his feelings for his birth mother.

He has been angry and non trusting with nandini ever since. That's why when Priya made that promise he looked upset.

As i keep saying ram has a very high EQ he might not say everything, but he observes everything.

I think he just senses there is something not right, he senses her as a threat to him and Priya being together. It’s the sixth sense… like we say at times .. we have a gut feeling but nothing to substantiate… or for that matter most of the times one is not even conscious about such a feeling… it is just manifested in such gestures… and that is the passive aggressive behaviour he has with her these days.

This is since the Kangan kaand, where he could feel there is something more than that meets the eye, but again I don’t think he gave it a conscious thought. Hence he is wary of her and anyways even before the Kangan kaand he was never comfortable sharing his and Priya’s relationship with her… may be because her constant pestering about how his marriage with Priya is an arrangement of convenience. She always made him feel uncomfortable about it, to the point that he felt guilty about holding his wife’s hand in front of her… ( in the hospital)

So when Priya made the promise he was reminded of the annulment track… and that gut feel or fear about Nandini struck him… again I don’t think he is self aware of this as yet.

Btw regarding his EQ, yesterday’s bepisodenwas the first time when I really appreciated it, when he said how embarrassed she must have felt when she realised it was her father who was trying to harm her husband… loved the way he reads her now.

I love the first few episodes, so go back to them once in a while. The stark difference in his body language and demeanor is so evident when compared with the recent episodes. The way NM switches when he between Mami/Nandini and Priya is simply brilliant!

Exactly!! He has been privy towards nandini for a while now, he tries to keep nandini out of the loop regarding his marriage and any issues with Priya and soods.

He knows nandini is trying to break his marriage since the annulment(sixth sense) then during akki kand as well he made sure priya is not blamed and warned everyone, then after accident he tried to keep the kachori surprise hidden from nandini, the kangan were also tarun suppose to bring and nandini asked him why he didn't let nandini know.

Then Nandini's constant push of him towards vedika, her supporting vedika in everything, nandini telling him she lost the kangan and it was retrieved from vedika.

He is sensing trouble from nandini, but doesn't want to voice it yet as he doesn't have a solid and concrete reason. Nandini will again play the sautela card, saying she failed him and his father into being a good mother for Ram.

So he keeps mum until there is an direct attack at priya or anyone else. But he made sure he to warn everyone. And nandini picked up his warning yesterday. That why she said to meera- " i don't like sharing ram"

He knows, she doesn't have any control over him, she is not able to manipulate him anymore. She tried that yesterday by cry and he didn't budge but priya got caught in her act. And ram wasn't able to stop her.

I think she knows shivi is the last resort to control ram. As ram is not as easy as before anymore but shivi is still his weekness.

So she can't let shivi out of KM now!

Yes, yesterday NM was amazing! He was the star of the episode with shubhavi.
