Yep. This is what I had pointed in my post yesterday.

He did that in his private conversation with Meera but not infront of Nandini.

If you remember in the beginning when Nandini fixed his marriage to Priya without asking him he refused straightforwardly until shivi was presumed pregnant! He respects nandini but won't let her control him that's why she manipulates him. Whereas if Meera will ask him to jump, he will ask how high!

That's the difference that was pointed out yesterday.

Yes, I noticed him being cold towards Nandu and that his comments to Mami were applicable to her too, I too made a comment on it somewhere, I also made a comment on him not melting at Nandu’s distress.

But it didn’t occur to me then the sautela angle, now it feels like he took it to his heart,

I agree Ram was angry because of Nandu’s behaviour, and if she was his birth mother, she might not have behaved like that (we never know in saas-bahu itv shows), but when a mother laments about a possible loss of her son, any son would melt.

Priya is a person who doesn't like her emotions clouding her mind and judgement.

She was emotional so she needed some physical comfort. But she didn't want to do something in the moment.

As there might have been a chance ram could have interpretted it as her taking steps forward in marriage, and for that she wants a clear head.

She didn't wanted to take a decision when overwhelmed so took a step back to reflect on everything that Ram said to her. And to decide what she wants next in the relationship.

Ram told her what he wants, it's her time now to think what she wants.

you have captured it so well… you are really good for your age kiddo 😆 don’t mind… I just admire your maturity for your age. :)

Really love the way you maintain perspective and analyze the characters from the constraints of the story and not as how we do… we expect the characters to behave the way we would if we were in their place and that is where the vicious circle of expectations from the character.

So I think more than the person attaching it was the attack that angered him… and to the extent that it did not matter who it was…

Also, all the while though he was speaking to Mami… oblique references were to Nandu.. to keep away from his wife.

When he looks at Priya the expressions are so soft, empathising with her and opposite when he turns around.

his act was top class yesterday, when he walked in between Priya and Mami.. it reminded me of the dialogue in the early episodes.. “ Main tere aur zamane ke beech aa jaunga “

His instant change in expression every time he turned between priya and nandini. Top notch👌👌

And you can see since the minute he walked in the room, he was infuriated at nandini and mami for yelling and frightening priya.

Priya looked scared and that messed with him badly!
