I think on arvind case imlie will find out akt indeed deliberately wrote inflammatory articles but arvind was the mastermind behind it 😈 where he himself had paid akt to write those so that he can execute his plan, whatever it may be..

I doubted that couple of times....as he looks closer/nicer than real brother....aryan was abroad and narpita being so nice... it is easy for arvind to play with them...(if he had/has any motives) ....btw ... it took us 20 years to give that status to our oldest BIL

Ye toh zabardast hain! Because then, it still doesn't absolve AKT of anything rather, in fact, it also makes him guilty of accepting bribe and intentionally brushing aside the professional integrity he keeps talking about so much!

It may prove Aryan wrong about Arvind, but it will definitely prove Aryan right about AKT and some more. 😈

Though, narratively, the plot has hinted towards neither and both will be sudden and out-of-character twists.

what u said is what I too meant, both imlie n Aryan will be proved right, neither akt was responsible for anyone's death as imlie believes nor what Aryan was wrong at blaming akt's articles.. due to blindfolded by love Aryan may not have doubted arvind ever which usually happens on ITV, which imlie will find out n bring out the truth..

Hey Jaz, no, I'm not calling you an AKT supporter either, I'm just actually breaking your theory down to say what it could end up meaning. 😊

When I said it is zabardast, I actually meant it because it a direct contrast to how AKT keeps presenting himself as honest and upright but your theory would prove he was neither.

With your theory, it will only be Aryan who will be right as well as wrong – right about AKT being responsible and wrong about Arvind being an honest man. Imlie will still be wrong for thinking AKT is innocent in this.

Showing Arvind as someone on the wrong side would help if they want to whitewash AKT, but that can't happen if Arvind and AKT were in it together. And given the way the story is going, whitewashing AKT makes no sense, he'd be better utilized if he turns grey/black.

AKT might be a self righteous, self centered, and careless person but he is not corrupt or conniving. He is shown to be extremely proud of his work, so he would not deliberately side with the wrong. It's possible he might not have checked or verified the facts pertaining to Arvind's case and in his overconfidence or false ego published something that increased the rage of people and created the circumstances that led to lynching.

Another possibility could be that Arvind was not a genuine person and was not acting in favor of the worker. So they were unhappy. AKT was just reporting the truth and all the time Aryan was misunderstanding the situation. Though, this seems unlikely. Aryan is shown as an astute person. I believe, he would check the facts before reaching any conclusion.

But don't you think it's a bit of an impossibility?

I mean if arvind bribed (anyone) for writing incendiary article, it goes to say that he was conspiring against Aryan, who was supposed to solve that problem that day, so if arvind already knew some problem will occur there that day he wouldn't have volunteered to fill in for aryan that day.

I dont want aravind to turn out to betray the ratores like that. But I do agree that AKT must also feel responsible for what happened atleast a little bit. Otherwise he wouldnt think aryan is out for revenge. I mean he has a gulty conscious somewhere.
