Bechari ko shaadi hi nahi karni thi 1st place main & everyone expected her to be so grateful for wrangling Mr. Scientist of the year. But I feel so bad for her. Parents itne bekaar & ab Ks who used to adore her have turned against her.

Looks like I will skip this week as well.

I only watched yesterday's epi after having skipped most of the week. Gist is that I guess Ks ko bahut humiliate kiya Maya ne in the party by weaponizing whatever info Gun had shared with her about Ks.....Gun ne toh maasoomiyat mein bata diya tha what all she likes about them and their traits - like BP ki bargaining, Golu chachu ka khaana/kahaaniyan sunaana.....but Maya twisted it all to humiliate Ks in the party very badly. Gun tried to shut her up beech beech mein but she was mostly ineffective and thode time baad toh sadme mein bas chup hi hogayi watching it all unfold in horror. Woh Dr. B bhi useless hi rahe in stopping his wife from talking so much bakwaas.

Iski wajah se hi finally Anu bajaaoed all of them after getting accidentally drunk.....he pointed out Maya ke double standards like putting his family ladies down for supposedly not having ambition as homemakers while her own daughter has no ambition beyond shopping/partying....toh basically Gun dono side se pawn ban gayi for people to use to lash out at each other.....

Ks are now convinced that Gun and her dad were also involved in Maya's scheme to humiliate them since they didn't do enough to stop her bakwaas.....lol bas Golu and gang still seem to have some sympathy for Gun - baaki sab are quite against her. Anu toh nashe mein behosh padaa hai filhaal. Ab kal uth ke jo bolega tab bolega....lol

Only good thing Gun managed to do was pack Maya ke bags and tell her to get out after the party....but usmein bhi woh zaleel aurat is dragging her feet and claiming ki abhi divorce nahin hua so she will stay as long as she wants in this house. Don't get why Dr. B doesn't go ahead and just divorce her then....lol oh right yeh bhi Adi ki tarhaan chup rahega on divorce for ages and jhelta rahega psycho aurat ke tamaashe.....😆

Aage I guess story will pick up whenever Golu gang try to patch Anugun up again.....meanwhile Akriti seems to have 80% succeeded in convincing senior Ks that she is ideal bahu material toh I deffo see Anu's parents pushing him to marry her.....baaki Anu maanega ki nahin, dunno. LOL aaj yeh log badaa Akriti ke sanskaaron ki baat kar rahe the (even after learning that she was the one who gave Anu the vodka accidentally at the party - this thing they easily forgave😕).....toh ab zara laao iske leechad baap ko bhi who kicked out his own wife to hook up with his SIL if I recall that Garima ki sobby backstory correctly 😆

Waise Akriti madam thodi Hindi toh seekh leti before plunging into Hindi shows.....can't even get her basic "Rs" right....lol Bengali shows mein hi rehti.

Adi ko toh lagta hai kill off karke bhi they will keep using for some token revenge plan😆....Imagine, even with barely showing him for 30 seconds in a whole week, they manage to center every Arylie argument and conflict around mention of him only😆....cuz they literally have NO STORY without him.....lmao can't wait to see the THIRD Adi they try to drag into this story🤣.....aur bhi badi laat padegi TRP aunties se phir toh😆

This forced need to ghuso baraabari everywhere gets on my nerves. Equality anyway is a vague term and between two people (even between a husband-wife), one person will always be better. Imlie was the better person in that relationship and Adi had no qualms in acknowledging that. If they are talking about power, then Aryan-Imlie power dynamics are deffo more skewed than Adi-Imlie ever was. Like you said, he's always dragged her around like a puppet.

I think they are can no longer fly the empowerment jhanda anymore haha.....many of them are forced to acknowledge the fact that Imlie as a character has regressed now but they will never admit this happened to make ASR's character look stronger. Atif ka funda yehi hai na ki ek ko uthaane ke liye dusre ko giraana padta hai.😆

Kitni sharam ki baat hai that they have to pivot their story around the same character they have denigrated so much, and still they don't learn tch tch. I doubt the TRP audience cares much for ASR's slow mo stylistic BS and eye brow raising, they are mostly always invested in the FL's struggle. Now this element is non-existent in the story, whereas before people tuned in to watch whether Imlie will get her rights and be accepted as Adi's wife.

I revisited the Vanvaas build up epis of IB today.....still stands on it's own as a week of such well executed high drama.....probably one of the best executed weeks of any Gul show ever😆

Can't believe people try to hype NM ki chindi acting from BALH2 aajkal all over Twitter.....zameen aasmaan ka farak hai in the sharpness of his acting as Shivaay especially in these Vanvaas epis v/s whatever unkempt looking hamming he is doing in BALH2😆

These scenes still hit just as hard even though I visited them after what feels like 3 years almost....just look at all of them bringing their A game as a cast....even full botox faced Jhanvi Aunty....haha and ofcourse apni Pinky Aunty toh ace thi hi

Great Wall of Shivaay bhi kya character tha bhai - aura of a character ise kehte hain....and people claim yeh chindi wannabe torchbearers of feminism like this Udhaarwala ASR are wow? 😆

Uff kya yaad dilaadi. Shivaay Singh Oberoi will always be an iconic character for me....it is deffo NM's best performance and he looked so always looked so well-groomed and suave, even in that infamous makkhi suit.😆 Even in his lowest moments he was likable!

It's such a pity cuz this is one of very few KDramas I have enjoyed recently.

I'm re-watching Goong/Princess Hours again, have you watched that one Lodestar? It was very popular when I was growing up.😆

Ekta's FLs were much more progressive 20 years earlier than Gul's FLs are now.😆 They were just more powerful...and they were never demeaned the way Gul FLs are regularly demeaned for clicks. They deffo had identities beyond patni/romance partner of the ML.😆

Bahahaha the ICONIC makkhi suit🤣......NM can never match his styling from this show....lol Shirali outdid herself and could never live up to this in any of the other shows she did😆....NM is trying some lame colorful shoes bakwaas in BALH2 but it again looks disheveled compared to the sharpness of OG Shivaay.

Gul ka basic template humko pata hi hai but what she and her chamcha Atif can't admit is that they don't get the execution right despite rinse/repeating the same tropes.....lol Shivika ke case mein bhi Shivaay was this very powerful central character - whole story was based in his world as the Oberoi family....but still Anika was ACTUALLY iske takkar ki.....jataake/bhaashan dekar nahin convince karna padta tha - it used to come through in their chemistry and dynamics cuz the casting/acting was so on point between them. Arylie are a colossal casting fail for the trope Atif is trying on them and upar se DBO type bakwaas mixed....lol toh padne hi hain joote no matter what online fangirls try to hype.

LOL waise toh even current Ekta FLs are shit now😆....so the problem isn't just with Gul FLs anymore. Overall denigration ho chuka hai but people don't get it cuz all they remember is that 2000s waale Kekta shows ki wajah se yeh heavy saris/jewelery waali bahus ka era started 😆.....yeh bhool gaye ki even with heavy saris/jewelery, those women were 100 times more powerful as characters rather than the tokenism waali gimmicky heroines these days.

Some other bits that still stand out from Vanvaas build up.....the chaabi drama and Shivaay again crying in front of Daadi ki woh haar gaya

SC ka bhi yeh last show tha where she still knew how to act😆

Narbhi ki tuning as Shivika was ace in the smallest of moments....even if they don't remember/value it anymore😆

Rudy ka gun wala drama and then Shivaay se pitna after that....lol...phir Rudy unraveling like a baby...aww

Such Lameness as I told you I couldn’t even fi ish the promo kya junglee lag rahe hain SB probably wants to create records of bot getting 0.1 bhi. Ji woh SGP remake ke liye aa raha hai . What the heck is the girl's Nath.
