Let Aditya be really responsible for inciting the crowd that led to the fire and Arvind's death. Just want Aditya's self righteousness being brought down a peg. I feel there is a lot of potential in showing how much misrepresenting the truth can harm lives in name of journalism.
A few years back a girl had gone viral with a guys pic saying he had misbehaved and threatened her in public in daylight. She had drummed up so much sympathy from everyone that within 48 hrs all news channels were after police and government to get the guy jailed and then given 7yrs sentence. She had prime time slot with big shot screaming journalist in a debate where they dragged the guy as bad a being a rapist. then the next day ppl who were eyewitness to the fight including the traffic police came forward telling that the girl was the one to break traffic rules by going over the footpath with her scooty and the guy had told he not to do that and she was the one who called him names and told him that she will teach a lesson by taking him to prison and ruin his life. By the time truth was out, these responsible journalists, on the word of a flaky social media queen teen had got a simple guys arrested, cost him his job, his name, honor and heartache to his family. But none of them had the guts to call the gal out to be a fake and liar. or apologize to the guy on national TV.
It will make so much better story telling then giving Aditya a clean chit. Aryan's words about words having power was so good. I hope makers don't chicken out on that.
