Dude she decked up so much for her ex husbands’ business launch party of Vanika Teamworks ... where was suti saree there ... ?? If they would not have decked up , danced and celebrated every damn festival on this planet and instead concentrated on doing more constructive things in life maybe by now they would have been less "middle class" ... Social msg is looking quite weak here ...

I think DKP introduced Anuj as billionaire , then realised it was proving to be too expensive despite the 1 bhk with no bathroom and kitchen inside bedroom ... so Usse garib kar diya , cost cutting was entire goal of Vanika track ... Lal Pari also goes and ab novelties of “middle class “shadi can be shown for ITVs shaadi of the year ... Office and Anu's growth is anyway out of the window , bas randomly every 15-20 days they make AK wear suits to satisfy FD demanding old wala AK

Anu depending on Shahs for marriage had pissed me off in promo more than Anuj’s character inconsistency and possibility of conflict ... I mean where is purpose of Udaan and independence etc if u have to depend on your ex husbands toxic family to sponsor your wedding ... ??

N yes maybe DKP ppl need to take time off from searching exotic locales for other show wedding and attend real middle class weddings to actually understand how well they celebrate it nowadays

Honestly , jabse they have started this Shadi this with this #Dadikishadi and very sloppy writing , my already dwindling interest has even gone down lower ...I'm toh slowly getting over Maan in show also now I think , dunno whether to be sad or rejoice , considering this is supposed to be most milestone track in their relationship ....

Exactly... whats with this hum gareeb hai hum gareeb hai. Yaa right I didnt know gareeb log celebrate Holi, Christmas, Sankranti and all in a grand way, gareeb log wear such heavy sarees like the one baa was wearing in today's episode. Its basically gareeb logon ki bezzati 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

But in the end I think they ll not do it in a small scale manner, Mukku aayegi aur kuch na kuch toh hoga hi. Just one thing that was good is that Anu asked him to stop agreeing to her all the time and keep his opinion as well.

From a very long time, I don't feel MaAn is equal. In AnuRaj, Trash was dominating and she was like Pati Parmeshwar. With MaAn now, it's just reverse Anu is deciding everything and Anuj worships her so Anu sahi hai..

both relationship are doomed to be honest IRL. This is not women empowerment where you show the husband as yes man.

I actually have not seen either Aarti episode or aaj wala, both didn't interest me. However, I don't mind him doing the Aarti, depends on dialogues and way it's done that probably you didn't like, they are doing OTT these days.

Nayi Bahu is Laxmi, so is welcomed with Aarti. And since Anuj house it was GK and him, doesn't matter if he does the Aarti.

Aarti is to welcome new member in family, we do even for new born baby coming home first time. So it's okay but should not continue forever as Bhagwan sorts..

I liked the whole wedding shouldn't be celebrated in such a way as to make yourself bankrupt. However, a lot of scenes and dialogues were flawed

1. The Jewelry that Anu alone wore on janmashtami would have costed a good chunk even if it was fashion jewellery and not real. And so many functions, the jewellery baa wears- she is a walking jewellery store sometimes.

2. Today Anuj said , that whenever he dreamt about wedding in 26 years. He always dreamt about her and not the functions or the preparation. Let's take a step back, Anuj didnt have umeed right. He had a panic attack the first time he dreamt of Anu in his life and he told Gk. That he dreamt of Anu only as going to college, chit chatting with devika. But for the first time he dreamt she was in his life.

So that was a big big flaw for me.

3. I did reuse my sister's wedding gown - however i made a lot of changes to it. My sister's gown was ball gown. I changed it to fish style. Hers were full sleeves, I changed it to sleeveless. So i did revamp the whole thing. But for my engagement gown - i did spend a bomb on it. I fell in love with this gorgeous dress. The point is that, they didn't have to show and talk about Auto and dry clean outfits.

You can always hire stuff. And even if you don't get an A + photographer. You will have a decent photographer atleast.

Coming to Anuj kapadia not having savings. Im choosing to think that for him the empire he was only caretaker - so he took only bare minimum as salary and the rest he invested back in the business. This seems to be the only sane reason. And I am choosing to believe in this 😂😂😂

Not commenting on the bapuji expense and all. We still dont even know what happened to the house loan 😂

I actually like the US style of RSVP. Saves so much of expense and also gift registry. I think these should really come into effect in India. We did this for our wedding. So most of our gifts were what we needed to set up our new home.

I'm really happy about the convo between Anu and Anuj and her shouting at him for always being self sacrificing. Sometimes i have a problem with my husband too. He is a very caring guy, so he loves to pamper me a lot. I have an issue so many times when he is like, ok you want to eat this - let's order this... So i was literally laughing at this scene. 😉😉

Vanraj and Toshu - are they cheating on their proposal. I couldn't really understand that scene much. What are they planning to do. Anyway we will know soon enough.

However i am 1000000% sure, that the wedding will be awesome. I'm just excited to see all the traditions and rituals. Because I'm sure it will be very sweet. A little bit mirch masala will be there. But that's always there in every wedding. I know it was there in mine 😂😂😂

Amy lots of nice ideas for wedding, such as redesigning a gown (a friend of mine did of her grandma's and wonderful vintage dress), registry and limit guests to RVSPs.

The problem is the disconnect when Anuj clearly wants something different and Shah's have been shown to spend a lot on other festivals.

@bold : same here, I was thinking with maan ki shaadi I will start 6am episode views again. And here I am in no mood to see after reading updates.

I just enjoy discussion in IF but don't see any clips or episodes these days..

Not sure, good or bad, MaAn charm is slowly losing its shine for me for sure..

Exactly, what's the point of independence and working daughter if she needs her father to bear her wedding expenses. What about Bapuji aap se hume sirf Aashirwad hi chahiye...
