But if they have already given you a time and date to attend the interview then you just have to show up at the venue...

Unless it's a urgent requirement they rarely call back to confirm...

It actually depends on company and interviewers both. I work for big MNC and still I see interviewees not coming for interview after agreeing to it. I wait for 10 mins and leave, happened once last week itself.

In your case, either HR would have failed to secure an interviewer. Or interviewer enjoyed there Sunday night and could not come to work on Monday morning. Or got stuck in some work.

Lastly, yes it has happened with me too that the interviewers don't turn up. Only later for me to hear that they were busy in burning production issue. And once I declined to take an interview just an hour before scheduled time because HR mixed up interview capabilities assigned to me. So, happens all the time, nothing unusual. Let HR know and arrange another slot.

Forgot to add, not sure about Anupama world..Every festival is new year, new beginning for them. In our family, if one can afford it, we try to wear new clothes on festivals. It's considered auspicious, even our maids wear new clothes on Diwali, the budget varies. Same applies for marriage too, not lavish but one can't be in old clothes.

Funny thing my mom said exactly the same yesterday.

Its a nice show for us to catch to chat about everyday, hence part of the reason to watch it. But if she gives up, I may as well. 😆
