I cannot believe she had such low self esteem that she kind of brushed of his numerous affairs as a matter of minor irritation. And that inspite of the fact that she was quite successful and very popular in her time. It’s really really sad.

Why take on all this shyyt at this age.. in her 20's😕.Who would wish that on someone going to marry a bald 40 year old..whose brsnd value is 30% of hers. Whose family wealth probably 10 % of hers... whose current family pics now consist of has beens..

She was not. Barring a few movies with Rishi she used to do blink and miss roles in action multistarrers. And the popularity was also of Anushka's. People gave bhav till Rishi had been relevant.

I’m sure she’s said it. There’s another interview of hers from around the time her kids reached adulthood where she says she always wanted her daughter to be innocent and her son to have a lot of experience.

Neetu’s family life was definitely dysfunctional Rishi’s affairs is probably only one of the reasons. By all accounts Neetu has had a codependent equation with Ranbir which seems to have messed him up too. Didn’t she once say that Ranbir (as a teenager) was her sounding board when things were bad between her and Rishi? There’s also the reports of domestic abuse by a functional alcoholic husband. She does seem very happy these days. She’s been actively working again all the time since her husband’s passing. She seems to have a sense of independence and is enjoying herself. I mean obviously we are all speculating and don’t know for sure but she seems to have her own life now and might not even care what her son and his partner do. Problem is the damage might already be done as far as Ranbir and his take on relationships and fidelity.

That’s when the affair isn’t just physical but an emotional attachment forms as well. What Alia said was basically what Neetu had said in this old interview. She doesn’t care if Ranbir goes out there and has one night stands but if he develops any feelings for these people then it’s a deal breaker for her.
