I don't think Sai was being a doormat or showing lack of self respect. She was merely trying to get a reaction out of V. And shes obviously kidding about failing/skipping the exam. I think the way Ayesha performed the scene clearly shows her intention.

Right now Sai is in self blame, guilt, love and reconciliation mode. So she is taking every insult, every barb, every snub and brushing it away to focus in her goal of getting V to melt, have a genuine conversation and give their relationship a real chance. But eventually if that doesn't happen Sai will leave and focus on her career and goal. She is definitely motivated to do well on career front too. Sadly the makers won't give us that as a plot- solo journey of Sai without chavannis. Itv cant make a show purely based on a person's career. The career is always relegated to the side and focus is on personal life drama.

Agree 💯. Her conversation with Pulkit clearly indicates she is focused on her goal of becoming a doctor. Virat also wants her to become a doctor and has always supported her dream. He is now also a source of motivation for her. Dont we feel the same if it was someone we love, like our parents or partner?

When Sai is calm, she puts others hurt before herself. When she and Pulkit went to hospital for Shruti’s injection she was clearly hurt when Virat referred to her as just a student. When he held her hand, her first reaction was of anger. But when she saw he was disturbed, she consoled him first. Although she misunderstood the reason but her act shows her concern towards him. Thats what she is doing now. She understands Virat’s behavior is coming from his hurt so she is putting aside her own hurt.

Although she is affected by the Chavans but she doesnt let that get into her, she is used to it, except Ashwini. She has accepted Ashwini as Aai from the first day in CN itself. She is taking it as coming from Ashwini’s own pain. Ashwini supported her and went against Virat during Shruti track. Maybe she doesnt realize that Ashwini will always be Virat’s Aai first before being her Aai or MIL.

Ya. But my 2 perspectives were one is a joke one being a lie. And thats what changes it for me. I still don’t know where I’m, but both are playing on my mind. If its a joke then its a bad one. Something which means so much needs to be respected. But on the other end it seems to be a harmless lie by a desperate girl seeking smallest of hint if her husband cares for her. So it changes everything. Like I said, I don’t know which of these have my vote though. So I’m neutral with that scene.

Weddings and remarriages are a thing in ITV and trp gainers. Also, the fact that V’s parents and most of the family were absent and most importantly the marriage being a compromise gives way for new vows to renew their marriage bond on more real and authentic grounds. Marriage in its true sense with both their full heart and mind. But like u said all this is only superficial if they dont talk it out and one half always weighs over the other in guilt and apologies. And CN is not the place for letting go off those barriers. They need to space out of CN and its inmates for sometime.

I did post that yesterday about the precap. Sai is yet to meet Rajeev. She will only speak to V once she has a convo with Rajeev. So wed in my opinion for the sake of the lollipop candy. But my only hunch is how Sai will take V into confidence and how much will she reveal to him. Will he know its about Shivani? I do feel the Shivani track is for introspection on both Sai and V’s part.
