Finally caught up with the wedding week today and I have to admit….. what the shit was that? 🤯
In a terrible way.
The writers are so confused, they have gotten Aryan married at least thrice on the same mandap, twice with Imlie!
And what was with Narmada agreeing to get Aryan married to BD in absence of Imlie? They really reduced Aryan into a paper doll to be tossed around from one girl to another
and Imlie? She got her freedom only when Aryan wanted. They portrayed as if Aryan controlled her because she has been blaming him and crying, victimising herself. Whereas Aryan always gave her an open choice.
They made a mess of the whole Rathore backstory, the revenge he wanted to take for his BIL AS WELL as Imlie. They started well with Adini shaadi then Imlie becoming self destructive completely destroyed it and the magic of Arylie. They made Imlie pour water over his plans which was revenge FOR HER SAKE. And for what joy is she protecting BS? Despite BS making her realise that Aryan is the one who has always respected her. 🤷
They used reverse psychology with Meethi just like what Aryan has been doing all this while. Because at least imlie will listen to Meethi. But Meethi become the Janani.
Aryan’s soft side is adorbs but they are making him into a doormat, I fear. Imagine Aryan Singh Rathore quietly marrying a girl who left him at the mandap?!🤡 Smells a lot like forced shaadi to me. (Of a once grey shaded ckt. Tch, Gul’s team can not handle shades really)
The only good thing was seeing Aryan’s alter ego with ice cream(must’ve been some change for Fahmaan from his daily straightface acting) but that also they ruined in order to whitewash imlie! 🤡 (The only selfless person is Imlie my ass)
when Muskan Bajaj said she has plans for Arylie I really believed her 🤡
Coming to what can be done ahead, my pov:
The reception where Imlie comes dressed as a maid makes no sense now that the wedding is her choice, so they should show Aryan get triggered by this (her rebellious nature, not the naukarani costume) and a few other things like the fact that she wanted the bride swap, he should fall out of love with Imlie (opening his third eye) and re-start his revenge track by maybe kicking the Tripathis from the house? Or getting Aditya implicated again. (Lil grey Aryan will definitely help because this doormat Aryan isn’t doing them any good)
As for Imlie, he should lay down proper conditions for her that if she doesn’t prioritise her studies and career he will keep troubling the Tripathis and she cannot do anything just like she was powerless at the wedding. So she gets her job back, concentrates on her journalism & begins finding proof against Aryan. Maybe Aryan can keep pinching Aditya once or twice?!?
But ultimately she should get proof in Aryan’s favour.
Malini should make her entry (I miss her) with their child anyhow. Adini should unite for the child because it’s not the child’s fault. And Malini should come back as positive for Tripathis, admit to her faults and come back just to give her child the paternal love.
AKT should avenge from Aryan with Malini by his side. This & proofs should make Imlie realise how good Aryan is and she would eventually support Aryan, falling in love with him.
