The character I looked forward to when the season 3 began was Akshara. Even though so many people complained how Akshara is shallow and naive and there is nothing going for her especially compared to Aarohi who was smart and ambitious, I expected Akshara's character to be layered and more interesting and was excited to see her growth and I vouched for her. 😅 Lol. Now I why wonder why because I have been proved very very wrong.

The character now I look forward to is Aarohi. The show is screwed up right now. I would probably watch again when they start a redemption track for Aarohi. And I wouldn't be interested if the makers are going to make her a Chamcha of AbhiRa and goody two shoes like Akshara. I want her to have a role and an arc like Sona from Krpkb. I am not saying she should get that much importance because she is only the third lead. But a smart independent goal oriented girl who is a bit selfish but with a moral compass. If Aarohi is going to be made inconsistent throughout to make boring abhiRa interesting, I am out.

I don't mind watching Akshara, but unfortunately she is so bland. The only thing that made her interesting or that made it look like there is more to her was her panic attack. Now she is as interchangeable with any other heroine of any ITV show. She is so naive and unnecessarily praised. In a sense, it gives perfect cause for Aarohi's jealousy when Aarohi is actually a doctor who saves lives but Akshara is the one praised all the time for saving lives with music therapy. 😅 (I know there is a case of accident against Aarohi which is not public by the way).

Not at all looking forward for Abhimanyu's arc. With my experience with yrkkh, male leads only get worse. So, I don't think I have the capacity to sit through Abhimanyu going from what I consider as worst to another level of worst. People say/argue, they like/dislike the character based on the track. Unfortunately for me, right after Tilak 1.0 is when Abhimanyu's full character arc got revealed. The extremes of the pendulum swing. And I have to say, irrespective of the track, I don't like who Abhimanyu is at his core. I don't like men like him who is imposing, self righteous and possesive and suffocating and who literally spews auroton ka izzat every single chance he gets and measures his respect for women based only on how he treats his mom and sisters (and may be at times his fiancée, as long as she obeys him or takes his side).

I want this too....makers have an opportunity now....Arohi ke character grwoth ka....she should be shown to focus on her career....whats the point of showing her passion for medicine profession when that is not tapped at all..😂

Sona banna may be too much for arohi....😂 but career wise, yess...😂

mujhe yeh samajh nahi aata ki jab akshu abhi arohi ko ek saath hospital mein le aaye the makers, hospital scenes per focus kyun nahi kiya...that would have been a nice story...all throughout!!

All of them specially AbhiRa.. How they are gonna balance family and their love. I want to see Abhi handling things more maturely and try to control his anger issues with family and Akshara balancing between Abhi and her family coz she needs to prioritize Abhi according to situation.

Aarohi- how she will transform herself into real professional doctor and achieve her dreams, balance her marriage life, sister and finally become perfect

For me I think Abhimanyu and Aarohis character growth will be interesting to watch but I need to choose one.

Of course, I am not expecting Aarohi to be more important than AbhiRa and be like Sona. But if there is a show with Aarohi as the heroine, I for one would watch it. 😅

I am not interested in watching an Aarohi who is like Akshara. I actually prefer tension between Abhimanyu and Aarohi. I am not at all looking forward to a good relationship between the two. I would really like Aarohi to hold on to the grudge against Abhimanyu for humiliating her and for his unbearable character (according to me). Instead of Aarohi becoming depressed, ODing on pills and causing accidents, I would like to see her pouring all of her energy into becoming a better doctor than Abhimanyu and competing against him in the work space. I also would love to watch a better relationship between Akshara and Aarohi. I would like to watch Aarohi standing up for Akshara in the Birla house and also when Abhimanyu makes insane demands and keeps unrealistic expectations. Of course, I am not going to get most of it (99% none of it). At times, it legit feels like AbhiRa has nothing interesting going on if Aarohi is not creating any issue. Therefore, it is mostly possible that Aarohi is going to be the plot device to keep AbhiRa interesting and to keep them going.

Agreed to what ever you said.
If anyone can stand up against Abhi it’ll be Aaru. She’s gonna get more and more brazen. (After Abhi left her at the altar and was unapologetic and apathetic, i don’t expect any leniency from her).

However cvs will never show her as pouring all that into being a good doctor. They are gonna use her to create drama so I am gonna watch that. I actually want her to push past and unravel before she gets her redemption. Rn she is the most interesting and unpredictable character.

The cvs won’t keep her grey. They’ll make her full blown negative- so I have accepted that too.

wouldn’t it be great to see Aaru standing up for Akshu! Coz after marrying into Birlas Akshu’s gonna be blamed for lot of things . Sometimes by Abhi too- that’s how they did Kaira dirty. I want it to be Aaru vs Abhi not Aaru vs Akshu.

again true. She is the catalyst that drives most of the plot. I am all for it - be it grey shaded or be it negative coz in ITV we can have only 1 mahaan FL. Rest will keep having various shades of grey as per tracks and trps.

just to add - I have been on Yeh Rishta forum for a long time 😅 (on and off) and it is one of the very very few forums where all opinions are welcome and healthy discussions happen. But I do see recently some posters attacking fans/real people - that is not good. If that happens then instead of being a discussion forum, this is just gonna become a praise-leads-24x7 forum.

So keep posting your views . I have read / interacted on your earlier posts too- they are interesting.

Good to hear that your ok coming in giving your opinions. I also love Abhimanyus and Aarohis Tashan. Makers can definetly use her character nicely instead of unnecessary drama. Mahima gets sometimes very loud and insensitive to Manjiri but other times she is shown as good professional doctor. Ofcourse I didn't like how she did not respect Anishas decisions and not accept her daughter. I would love to see Aarohi as you described but I like Abhimanyu too. He is wrong sometimes but he is very sweet to Manjiri and Akshara atleast so far. It will interesting to see if he will respect his relationship. I love Akshara's cuteness and want to see her becoming strong and giving back to Aarohi. I want to see cute sisters bonding.

I wanted to see Sona in Akshara not Aarohi but I think that will not happen. Those characters are rare. She was definetly my favorite and will always be . Some people disliked her too but I loved her the most in ITV..I don't watch lot of TV so just in few serials I saw.

I would want most of it too...especially arohi focusing on career and competing with abhi in it....I ant her to be a good sister...not the one jo abhi tak hai...but does not seem to be coming in soon...she said ki woh emotionally blackmail karegi akshu ko chup rahne ke liye...I mean...writers should focus on showing arohi move on from abhi and is on the path to become a succeessful doctor...abhi se hsaadi karna ka maksad bhi to wohi tha uska...so y not focus on becoming best....writes bhi confused hain usko le kar...I mean mean plotting jo usse karwate hain...hansi aati hai...😂

aap kaho to jab mein aati hun, aap ko tag kar dun...waise aap jaante ho...mein bakwaas karne mein hi maahir hun...😂 aap ki tarah likhne ka talent nahi hai...😂

I get your point. I am not saying Aarohi should win all arguments or tashan with Abhimanyu. I want to see a healthy competition between Aarohi and Abhimanyu at the hospital. And when Akshara and Aarohi's relationship gets better, I want Aarohi to show Abhimanyu some of the things he expects of her is outrageous. And it will make sense when Aarohi shows that mirror to him because she had already done to that Akshara once. No one else will stand infront of Abhimanyu and question him and point out when he is being unreasonable. Only Aarohi will. Abhimanyu and Aarohi are the two sides of the same coin.
