I feel her insecurity is because she never heard or felt any assurance from Ram that she can lean on him without having to prove herself. Everybody comments on their marriage for convenience at any given chance and nobody contradicts this!

On a serious note, I don’t think the consummation is happening anytime soon. Ram will confess, Priya will ask for some time (may be not in words, but her behaviour would indicate that). Ram would gift her the kangan, Ram trying to romance biwi, etc. The awkwardness in the lift BTS indicates this.
From the BTS, looks like both are in the mood. I guess they get interrupted because they will have a new hurdle to cross, that's why there is an awkwardness

My thought is that Priya gets the proof of Mr Sood involvement for Ram's accident and she says it to Ram (Hoton pe aisi baat). Ram joins with her (Remember he drank the bhaang offered by Priya). They will not get separated now

No dude there is a new entry in the show. It got confirmed through BTS.
There is a new entry of a man who already knows ram. So it's someone from Ram's past i think.
