Ikr.. ASR was clearly the hero, but according to FK even he didn't know he was going to be lead and Gash was about to quit.. He just knew his character was going to get prominent. But audience started loving his character so he ultimately became the lead...what I assume is even channel wanted to who is favoured by audience so in that race FK won.

According to telly express article, it was mentioned channel wanted to toy between the two as MV had more insta followers and FK had done few shows previously..also said MV was ok with that initially and hoped to be the lead.
