It was a new day in Pagdandiya. The sun rising bright and orange from the east. Birds chirping. Cold breeze. The smell of wet mud all over due to the last night storm.
It was a special day today. It was Aditya Kumar Tripathi's birthday. Everyone was excited. Imlie had planned something special for her Babusaheb. She was gonna give him the best gift of his life.
It was evening everyone was done with all the decorations and food stuff. Adi was just about to come from his work. Since the Tripathi's had not accepted Adilie's marriage they had shifted to Pagdandiya to live with Meethi and Satyakam. Adi had found a good job of a senior crime reporter there. It was a well paid job. And Imlie she took admission in a college next to her village to complete her degree. She was in her last year now. Life was going well. Imlie Adi Satyakam Meethi Nani and Chhuari lived happily together in their small house. Nani had changed for the good. She had accepted Imlie as her grandchild finally and stopped troubling Meethi too. Satyakam and Meethi were happy too in their married life.
Evening at 7pm.....
Adi came home and was surprised to see all the decorations and the yummy food made. And boom there comes Imlie from behind and wished him screaming loudly, ' Janam din ki hardik shubkamnaye Babusaheb '....and Adi the dumbo was like 'Hain! Aaj hamara birthday hai?' Imlie does face palm and was 'Haan mere gusse wale patrakar saahab aaj ab ka birthday hai aur ye sab tayariyan aur vyanjan aaphi ke liye kiye gaye hai'. Meethi Nani and SK also wished him.
And now it was time for Imlie's surprise. She took Adi to their room and said, 'Babusaheb ham aapse kuch kehe ke chahat rahe. Toh app ka surprise ye hai ki ham Maa banne wale hai'. After hearing this Adi was crying tears of happiness he was super happy. This was the best gift of his life. His lovely wife was pregnant. They were pregnant. He lifted Imlie up in the air and hugged her tight....close to him leaving no space for air even to enter. Even kissed her....it was one long kiss. (Ofcourse they deserve one >_< )
After sometime they came out and gave this news to Satya and Meethi. Both were happy and in tears. Their little gudiya is pregnant and they are gonna be grandparents now. Meethi removed Imlie's nazar and blessed her and Adi. SK distributed sweets in the whole village.
