I miss Adish and Yamini

So, we as an FD are so hung up on Ayesha, Neil and Aishwarya, I thought I would really to talk about Yamini and Adish

Yamini portrayed Shivani as strong, independent and bindaas. She brought in that element of casualness in a stifling atmosphere that is Chawan Niwas. I used to think she was not a great actress, but I guess now I understand she played the character very well. Even when she was angry with Sai, she never looked like she was 'siding' with the family.

Whereas the new actress, no offense to her, is playing it like a Chawan...that too not like Mansi her sister but Bhavani Vahini. Maybe because she was introduced during one of the most terrible tracks, I have not warmed upto her. That bindaas element is lacking in her.

Adish of course, I miss a lot. He was so good as Mohit. I still remember the after anniversary scene ...he was torn between irritation at Sai and pain at what Virat was going through. He did so well. Again, maybe the Shruti track was such that it required a certain aloofness. Today the turnaround from both of them felt too sudden. Adish and yamini would have played it differently.

It would have been done differently, I feel.

Another two favourites - Sonali - I hope they increase her importance. her increasing irritation at Bhawani's blind support for Pakhi, she is showing it very well, subtle yet, it is simmering.

karishma - I am going to tweet for Sneha...she deserves more SS too. She could have danced yesterday.

They have a great supporting cast. I hope they begin to use them well. It would just flesh out the story better. All we get is the Chawans standing in a semi circle 🤣 and throwing attitude.

This new mohit is so selfish .. he looks omi ka son ..

Adish had got the essence of tublu ( KD ) quite well

With new Shivani ( I feel she is playing a different character .. she’s playing the role of koli di .. who was an older sister of Rono and working single .. leading a boring life )

Yamini played labu pishi who was a flirty older lady .. who was looking for love and partnership in her twi light ..

These 2 roles were merged in ghum .. so we see 2 different arches over here ..

Oh ok. Only in Ghum can they suddenly switch characters😆

Adish yes. Yamini not so much. She was terrible in emotional scenes. But she had that vibes which clicked & hit it off well with Ayesha on-screen.

Atm they should stop showing faces of Omi, Shivani, Mohit, Ashwini can't stand them at all. I can't rule out BK as she's an integral part.

Did I miss anyone?

I miss adish not yamini....Yamini did well in normal and teasing ,funny scenes but not emotional ones....but she had more screen presence than current actress....I felt tanvi better when she entered the show....she doesn't fit easy going fun loving shivani....rather looks like taunting chavans....

Adish ...miss him...he had better dancing skills....and it was his acting which made us like mohit character even though screen space was less ....and my old moharishma 💔

I soo miss Adish and Yamini! 😔 No offence to both the actors playing Mohit and Shivani but i cannot relate to them at all the way i used to with Adish and Yamini. Adish was just so good as Mohit. One of my favourite scenes of his is when he was being forbidden from eating and Sai took a stand for him. He was amazing in that episode, he portrayed the pain of a son of the family who gets sidelined and insulted all the time so well. The new Mohit, lemme just not say anything about him at all because he doesn't deserve it. The new Shivani isn't the Shivani we knew, she doesn't have that carefree and idgaf attitude which Yamini had as Shivani.

Sneha is another talent that is being overlooked. When the show bagan Mohit and Karishma had adequate ss compared to now. They used to have their banters and even their bedroom conversations once in a while. Now Karishma has been reduced to a mere prop who just decks up and stands in a corner doing nothing. Sneha has so much potential which is not being utilised. Instead of showing that Pinga dance of Sai and Didi in a desperate attempt to keep the third angle alive, why didn't they choose another song and make Sneha also perform? She's such a good dancer with good expressions and all. All the three bahus would then have performed together, wouldn't it have been better? But no, they have to keep obsessing over the 3rd angle. They're obsessed just like their favourite character.

I miss them too. Their characters were at theirbest phase when they were onboard. Portrayal was also good.

Now toh I cant even connect to those characters a bit.

Same here. I also initially felt Yamini was not that great. But now I do feel did she fit in better and was was better in sync. Maybe not really good but definitely had her own style. Adish was definitely the prefect Mohit. He made that character his own. The new guy is simply a tick tocker who is more active off screen. He is not a good actor and it becomes even more obvious because he stepped into Mohit’s shoes who was so good. I still can’t relate to him as Mohit.

I will be rooting for Sonali of she speaks her mind. She clearly sees everything and now we can see how she despises P and her acts and internally disapproves of Bhavani’s decisions and blind favour of P.
Not including Karishma in the dance performance only proves the point that this whole Pinga performance had an agenda, which unfortunately didn’t receive the desired results. She is a good dancer and would have outshined the self proclaimed dancers.
