Tell me where I’ve misinterpreted your intentions? Kindly point it out to me so I can read the apology through your eyes. I’m really struggling here because the above does not resemble an apology. The tone is sarcastic, I’m sorry, it’s my fault that I thought highly of you. Let’s stop right there and dissect this. You’re not saying, “Hey FF, I’m sorry that I laid those expectations on you, it wasn’t my place, and wasn’t necessary. You are your own person and shouldn’t be obligated to moral police others”. Nope, you literally apologised to yourself for having thought highly of me (intentional use of past tense), implying that you no longer think highly of me now. Then you end the apology with “but now certain things seem clear.” Anyone who can read can deduce that you’re implying that things are more clear to you now about how you perceive me. I’m no longer worth being held in esteem and this has opened your eyes, If that isn’t a snarky comment made my way, then I don’t know what is.

Now do you understand how your apology can be interpreted? That’s why I kept asking you to clarify whether I misunderstood all of the above, but you kept evading my questions. What does that tell me? If you’re not going to tell me that I misread it, then obviously I’m going to believe that you meant it exactly as you had written it. So it’s okay to passively put me down in public like that, but God forbid if I do the same to you. Apparently you have feelings and I don’t.

If you truly wanted to clear the air between us, then the first thing I would have expected is for you to unblock me, so we could address this maturely via PM. You clearly didn’t have an issue with me prior to this and engaged in conversations with me even though you blocked me. Is your ego and pride so important to you, that you’ll continue to joke around and talk to me, but won’t unblock me? If you never intended to cut me off completely to begin with, then why would you continue having me blocked? Members get into fights all the time, but tomorrow is a new day, and holding onto grudges is unhealthy. You need to find peace in yourself and move on.
