The tone is sarcastic, Iâm sorry, itâs my fault that I thought highly of you. Letâs stop right there and dissect this. Youâre not saying, âHey FF, Iâm sorry that I laid those expectations on you, it wasnât my place, and wasnât necessary. You are your own person and shouldnât be obligated to moral police othersâ. Nope, you literally apologised to yourself for having thought highly of me (intentional use of past tense), implying that you no longer think highly of me now. Then you end the apology with âbut now certain things seem clear.â Anyone who can read can deduce that youâre implying that things are more clear to you now about how you perceive me. Iâm no longer worth being held in esteem and this has opened your eyes, If that isnât a snarky comment made my way, then I donât know what is.
Now do you understand how your apology can be interpreted? Thatâs why I kept asking you to clarify whether I misunderstood all of the above, but you kept evading my questions. What does that tell me? If youâre not going to tell me that I misread it, then obviously Iâm going to believe that you meant it exactly as you had written it. So itâs okay to passively put me down in public like that, but God forbid if I do the same to you. Apparently you have feelings and I donât.
If you truly wanted to clear the air between us, then the first thing I would have expected is for you to unblock me, so we could address this maturely via PM. You clearly didnât have an issue with me prior to this and engaged in conversations with me even though you blocked me. Is your ego and pride so important to you, that youâll continue to joke around and talk to me, but wonât unblock me? If you never intended to cut me off completely to begin with, then why would you continue having me blocked? Members get into fights all the time, but tomorrow is a new day, and holding onto grudges is unhealthy. You need to find peace in yourself and move on.
