😆I liked Anthony and usually a fan of enemies to lovers trope but he needed a better female lead. Their story was such a slow burn, uff! She was still better than Daphne in that Daphne’s entire personality was just her wanting to get married lol. Eloise is my fav! Also better song placements needed, they just randomly dropped K3G during the haldi scene - K3G deserves a full on ball scene dammit!

Oh don't get me wrong, I LOVE the enemies to lovers trope but if you're going to give me only 8 episodes, then I want more passion/romantic scenes between the lead. I didn't feel the chemistry or connection between them. They went from hating each other for most of the show to suddenly being overwhelmed with such strong desire. The fcuk did that happen? While I was snoring with one eye open? 😆 The scene where they first met was so promising. She looked lovely with her wind-blown hair, sitting fiercely on her horse. I can imagine he felt SOMETHING then and there but all that fizzled out. He was still so keen on marrying her sister, which I found a massive turn off. I want a man who goes after what he wants, NOT what he thinks he needs. This is why Mr Darcy, Mr Thornton and Mr Rochestor will forever be the hottest Englishmen alive.

Daphne sucked from start to finish. Her husband though was hot AF, and partially the reason why I enjoyed the first season more. I like sexy men. Also, their kiss scene was the hottest first kiss I've ever seen in the history of television. I was fanning myself and rewatched it at least 10 times. 😆 I can't wait for Eloise's story. I'll be skipping right through Penelope's, coz I have zero interest in her.
