Well he initiated the Holi 'pyar ka rang phele chadega' thingee! The cute lil baby convo, dahi shakar waqt telling her that he feels romantic even at those mundane moments, video convo etc he knows to romance but the wind is not in his favor.

Not that he is shy or hesitant but with too much high volt drama happening around like Anu's yes/no for wedding on her bday, Anu having to shift to Shah's, the angst phase he kind of dint get the chance/time I'd say...

It looks like a writers’ or maker’s thing to hold him back ... in the unedited version of the Holi scene , it’s AK initiating all the way with the hand intertwining and the the smear on cheek with the finger ( which was extremely Hot ) , and it was cut out . Similarly yesterday’s hug from his side looked odd to me , given the magnitude of the moment and the drama they had created before it .. And what’s Bhavna’s obsession with keeping him in a temple fir Gods sake

Or maybe it’s cz of GK and his insane popularity esp in the romantic scenes ...The makers are afraid if he’s allowed to unleash even half of his potential, the SM audience esp will go mad 😛...and popularity of their “ HERO “ will furthur go down ( which is anyway at some double minus zone already 🤣

Well put! It is getting ridiculous by the day. There seems to be no connection from one episode to another. The original theme of the story is nowhere to be found. Now that they have GK, dhang ka romantic scenes bhi nahi de paa rahe hai, everything seems to be half baked.
