After watching this show for this long what i feel is writing dlgs is not their strong point. They Just can't seem to write a heart touching conversation between a couple and it has been more than a year. When i remember some of my favourite scenes of shiva and raavi, it's him saving her. Trip and falls, accident scenes are easier to write as it depends on the direction, acting and execution.the script has less role.
Shivi scenes have been pretty much the same recycled ones. The kind of dlgs they gave to gautam and dhara during their consummation scene in the haveli. Maa ki khusi, bas ek hi na. Who says such things during the act? Some dlgs during the baccha track were so insensitive and then they behaved as if nothing happened.most of their conversations are about dhara worrying about the family with aa aa bgm and gombi saying tu tension mat le.
Dev rishita had a pretty okay track now after long. But still the dlgs were revolving around bhabi when dev was trying to convince her to keep the baby.
Either they don't know how to write a proper conversation between couples or they are too lazy to try š
They are good at writing standalone comedy scenes and nok jhoks.the strong initial og story, the chemistry of actors and the hard work of director and crew in making the scenes aesthetic is what has kept the audience hooked. They have a long way to go when it comes to emotional and heart touching dlgs.
There is only one solution to this. Fire Choubays and bring in set of writers who have experience in writing couples conversations and emotional scenes.
The show cannot just depend on nok-jhok, comedy and stand alone romantic scenes. It needs a strong emotional foundation between couples and family members, which is sorely lackingš
