The fact that everyone is so happy seeing shiva touch maami's feet is because they haven't shown him doing much for her. He says meri biwi or saves her from an accident or completes a ritual and everyone is happy because that's the least we have got. The makers have done a really poor job in showing his love towards her. If they can make characters say that uski nazrein tujhe dhundti hai, tere bina ek pal nahi reh sakta woh, jiyenge to saath marenge to saath then why couldn't they show it in some scenes. All we have got this year after the new year fight is his dream about kissing raavi at the store, a 10 seconds of closing his eyes when raavi left,a reaction when mohallewale taunted her and a grumpy look when she was ignoring her. And i can't even start to write the countless scenes in which his hate was oozing out as it would take up the whole page. How is the audience supposed to be convinced that he loves or cares for her? Had they shown his hurt, anger, conflict and feelings more clearly and toned down Suman's taunts then we would have understood him and the trp audience as well. 😆
