I understand and agree it's taxing when we like a character and we have to read comments against that character. But I don't think anyone here hates Anu. Mostly sometimes some of us get frustrated when she tolerates shah family unnecessarily.

Young heart, sorry, I think that exchange between Ali and I should've remained private, and we've spoken about it separately. I understand that it's frustrating to have to defend her, i felt similarly for a bit, but then, i learnt how to ignore those bits. But also, I realised that I too am frustrated by many things the character does and I guess other people have different ways of expressing that frustration, and it's just best to ignore those comments and move on, without justifying anupama, because eventually, we know that the maan story will come to where we want it, no matter what they say about her.

Ali, one shouldn't have to create an anupama AT, it's a show about her as the protagonist, not the antagonist, the whole forum is supposed to be about her. Many of us enjoy the maan story as part of her life. We want to see her become a happy independant woman, and most of us are rooting for maan.

The combination of Gaurav and Anuj has created magic and we really enjoy him too. You said that people say bad things about Toshu, Vanraj Kavya too, but these are clearly negative characters, anupama isn't, this is her story, where she's the hero, the emotions we have for her character and her story can't be compared to liking kavya or Vanraj. The very fact that you took her name in the same way as these characters makes us think that you think of her similarly, and react to her in a hateful way. And until I made peace with it, it bummed me out enough to not want to come here anymore.

But then, I've come to terms with it because I stopped wanting for others to like her character. Because i realised that no matter how many people aren't convinced by anupama being in love, what I seek from her love story is what's going to happen :) it's going to happen at an incredibly frustrating pace, and the other parts of her story that I want to see might just get buried, but maan is endgame, and that's for sure.

you put your opinion out there. people turn around and disagree with it and you’re internalizing that to mean there is something wrong with you. this is why you feel bummed and dissuaded from coming to IF.

i have never felt a deep connection to a fictional character. i cant relate to your position of feeling the need to defend anupamaa. but, i will respect it that this what what you have decided to assign your emotions to. ❤️

Even for this particular public declaration by Anu, she was bashed left and right by many. I kept saying she has already chosen Anuj.. her silence was because she was hurt because of the contant gaslighting by her so called family and her bubble burst that her family would be happy for her... but i was bombarded with various reasonings on why Anu would never choose anuj blah blah blah... It really gets exhausting to explain after a point..

Or do...i mean whatever you want :)

But then don't complain when we don't understand or agree with you😪

It feels like you are saying that only you understand the complexities of anupama's character and we lack the brain cells to understand the depth of her character
